AfterMath Warfare is a Minecraft server that feels like DayZ but in block form. The world is based on the Chernarus map so you run through cities forests and military areas that look like the original map.
The server is all about hardcore PvP survival. You get realistic guns with different ammo types and attachments and fights feel very intense. There are vehicles too so you can drive around and explore the huge map instead of walking everywhere.
Loot is super important here. There are custom loot tables with military civilian and high tier zones so where you go really matters. There are also daily loot drops and giveaways so you can grab free gear and rare items if you stay active.
The community is focused on competition and survival. You are told to trust no one because alliances are fragile and you never really know who will turn on you. Staff are active and keep things fair and the server is not pay to win so your skill and strategy actually decide what happens.
If you like high risk high reward gameplay and PvP where every fight counts this server is built for that style.

This is a modded fabric server that is not cracked. It needs troll commands mod and loot r to join. Voice chat is optional if you want to talk.
The owner wants people to use a compability checker for the mods so stuff does not break. If you have questions you can just ask.
The first three players who join get op loot. The server is currently online and waiting for people to come play.

ArdynFall SMP is a vanilla style survival server that is trying to keep the original Minecraft feel but with a few tweaks that just make things better. It runs on version 1.21.10 and has been going for about a year so the world is already lived in but still has tons of space to build and explore.
There are no planned server resets so anything you build is meant to last. The server stays up all the time and gets backed up a lot so your progress is pretty safe. There is a friendly staff team around to help if something goes wrong or you are confused about anything.
The server uses a player run economy based on diamonds and there is a shopping district you can help grow. They also run events like hide and seek and base tours so people can show off their builds and hang out together. It feels focused on community and people actually playing together.
There is also a separate creative server for members so you can test builds or work on group projects without risking your stuff in survival. The plugins are all quality of life ones that do things like fix mob griefing and make some tasks faster but the basic gameplay stays vanilla.
The server supports proximity voice chat if you want to talk in game without having to sit in a call all the time. Overall it feels like a chill SMP where you can settle in for the long term and slowly build your own legacy with other players.

This is a semi vanilla survival server that is all about chill gameplay and a strong community. It feels like a classic SMP where people actually build stuff and stick around.
The server uses diamonds as the main economy so players trade and buy things with them. There are player shops and a nice shop gui so you can browse or set up your own store pretty fast.
You can claim land with golden shovels so your builds stay safe. The server is no griefing and it is focused on pve. There is no keep inventory so dying actually matters and makes survival feel more real.
There is a live world map you can open in your browser and they also use separate resource worlds so the main world stays clean and looks good. You can explore and gather in those without wrecking the main survival map.
The community seems friendly and they run weekly events so there is usually something to do with other players. You can earn ranks and vote rewards just by playing which makes it feel rewarding over time.
Both Java and Bedrock players can join so it is easy to play with friends on different platforms. Overall it looks like a good place if you want a simple survival smp with some helpful features but still a real survival challenge.

Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy Minecraft server that tries to stay really close to normal vanilla survival. It launched on October 11th 2024 and it is always online in New York City.
The idea is simple. There are almost no rules and almost no extra commands. You can fight other players and grief bases. There is no pay to win stuff and there are no map resets so the world actually matters and keeps its history.
You can join with Java versions from 1.7.2 all the way up to 1.21.11. The owner says it is best to use 1.21.10 so you do not run into weird issues.
The world border is huge and goes out to 2 million blocks in every direction. There is no random teleport or home command. The only main command you get is spawn so players far away can still come back to see other people. Nether roof travel is allowed and phantoms are turned off. Only about half the players in a world have to sleep to skip the night.
There are a few rules to keep the server playable. You cannot use exploits or dupes. You cannot build lag machines or spam chat. You also cannot harass people or use racial slurs. Besides that most things are allowed so you have to watch your back and decide who you can trust.
