Harvest SMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels like a Hermitcraft style world. It uses a bunch of quality of life datapacks and just a few simple mods that are optional so it still feels like normal Minecraft.

Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy Minecraft server that tries to stay really close to normal vanilla survival. It launched on October 11th 2024 and it is always online in New York City.
The idea is simple. There are almost no rules and almost no extra commands. You can fight other players and grief bases. There is no pay to win stuff and there are no map resets so the world actually matters and keeps its history.
You can join with Java versions from 1.7.2 all the way up to 1.21.11. The owner says it is best to use 1.21.10 so you do not run into weird issues.
The world border is huge and goes out to 2 million blocks in every direction. There is no random teleport or home command. The only main command you get is spawn so players far away can still come back to see other people. Nether roof travel is allowed and phantoms are turned off. Only about half the players in a world have to sleep to skip the night.
There are a few rules to keep the server playable. You cannot use exploits or dupes. You cannot build lag machines or spam chat. You also cannot harass people or use racial slurs. Besides that most things are allowed so you have to watch your back and decide who you can trust.

This server is called Overtake Network and it is made for people who miss the old factions style from around 2014 to 2016. It is not about crazy modern stuff or pay to win menus. It is about raiding other bases doing real PvP and grinding your gear the normal way.
The combat is set up like native 1.8 so there are no hit cooldowns. You can spam click and block hit and use rods just like old school PvP. They really care about hit registration so fights feel smooth. You can join with newer versions like 1.12 but the combat still behaves like 1.8.
The main game mode is classic factions where you claim land build cannons and raid enemies. There is McMMO so you can level skills and get small advantages by grinding. The economy is balanced and built around farms mob grinders and a player auction house so players trade with each other.
