Welcome to GenuineMC! A Semi-Vanilla Minecraft Server Established: July 8th, 2013 Who are we? GenuineMC is a Semi-Vanilla server that is run by the community! We have attracted individuals of various ages and nationalities who have found themselves at home on our server. Their voices have helped shape our community and have helped us to move forward as a Minecraft Server. Their voices have allowed GenuineMC to become what it is today! As a team, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for new and current players. We also strive to meet the needs of every player and to listen to their personal comments about our community. We utilize input provided by our players to expand and improve upon the overall playing experience. This forward-thinking approach has resulted in the member base that has extended across the entirety of our server’s timeline, from both past and present, and will hopefully continue to do so in the future. What is Semi-Vanilla? Semi-Vanilla is essentially Minecraft, but with heightened aesthetics. We add plugins that either add special effects or help improve previously existing mechanics, but don’t take away from the genuine Minecraft experience. That means you can join our server and utilize none of our plugins, while still having a fun and wholesome experience playing the game. In terms of plugins, we have administrative ones that help us run our server like Essentials and Grief Prevention. We also have ones for the players that add to the game like Marriage or Mob Heads. When you join our server, you can choose to use these plugins to leave them be. It’s all up to you on how you want to play the game.
