Chilltown SMP is a survival server that feels really relaxed but still has a challenge. It is made for people who like exploring and building cool bases without getting punished too hard when they mess up.
The world has seasons that change the terrain every 90 days so it feels more alive and fresh. There are custom structures and custom biomes that make the world look really awesome and you can find more loot while you explore.
There are also custom mobs and custom enchants so the gameplay feels different from normal Minecraft. You can get daily rewards too so logging in every day actually feels worth it.
The server uses chunk based claiming instead of golden shovels so protecting your base is easier. There is a community chest to share stuff and a friendly inclusive community that likes to play together.
The server tries really hard to not be pay to win. It just wants everyone to have fun and chill together while they adventure and build.

This is a simple vanilla server that has been running for about two years and it feels like one of those worlds that just keeps growing every day. The players are really into building and the community is pretty active and nice.
The owners really push co op so playing with friends is a big deal here and you actually get rewarded for bringing them along. People work together a lot but it still feels like survival and not some super protected world.
The server has friendly staff and runs 24 7 on a dedicated machine with backups so if something bad happens the world is still safe. It feels smooth to play and there is support if you need help.
The rules are strict about hacking cheating exploiting racism lag machines threats x ray bullying or being toxic. If you do that you get banned for good. But regular survival chaos is allowed so you can pvp team up farm as much as you want build redstone machines load new chunks and even grief steal and raid.
Spawn has a protection radius so the very center stays safe but once you leave that area it is real survival and you have to watch your back. The server also has voting on different sites to help it grow so it keeps getting more players and new leaders in the world.

This server is a towny survival SMP where players build towns and claim land and just chill. It has towny so you can make your own place with friends and protect it.
There is also a kit pvp arena where the kits are balanced and not pay to win. So fights are more about skill instead of who spent more money.
