IronRealm SMP is a small semi vanilla survival server that is trying to grow a chill long term community. Right now there are about seven players and there is space for more but the owner wants to keep it capped so it stays close and does not get crazy.
The server is whitelisted so you have to apply first. You need to be 17 or older and you have to answer everything honestly or you just do not get whitelisted at all. If someone lies or shares the IP without permission they are banned and removed from the server and the discord. They are also very strict about no griefing no cheating and no pointless drama.
The world is meant for long term survival and it feels more like a classic SMP with a few helpful features. There is proximity voice chat so people can talk when they get close and there is an online map so you can see the world from a browser. This server is called TBFMC and it is for people who want real survival with no shortcuts. It is semi vanilla and it feels like how Minecraft is supposed to play with no big gameplay changing stuff.
There is optional keep inventory if you really want it but there is no teleporting at all. Instead players are supposed to make real infrastructure like nether highways connected towns and shared community areas so the world feels connected.
They use custom in house plugins for land claiming towns and the player mall. These are made just for this server so your builds are protected but it still looks and feels like normal Minecraft.
You get one time rtp to leave spawn and find a place to live. Commands are easy to use with a help menu. Land and towns are done with the town command and player shops are handled with the mall system.

This is a pirate themed Minecraft server where the ocean is actually scary now because there are sharks swimming around everywhere. It still feels like normal vanilla Minecraft but with extra cool stuff.
The owners are working on a big fishing update and a Fishermans Guild. While everyone waits they dropped a smaller update that adds these sharks to the oceans. When players go out on the sea they can run into sharks and it makes sailing and fishing way more intense.
The sharks are not just for looks. You can use shark drops for new crafting recipes. There is Shark Stew a special Shark Necklace and even Shark Plushies. It makes fishing and hunting in the water feel way more worth it.

AtlasMC is a new Minecraft Earth server that is launching in March. It uses a full Earth map so you can grab real places and turn them into your own base or country.
The server is all about towny style nations and diplomacy. Players build towns and then form nations. You can make alliances or go to war and the politics are all driven by the players.
There is a big focus on PvP and teamwork. They have a custom Battle Points system and large battle zones for huge nation wars. There are control points you can fight over that give rewards and advantages. PvP is meant to be balanced and about groups working together.

XYZ Vanilla is a semi anarchy semi vanilla survival server that tries to stay really close to normal Minecraft while still making the game a bit better to play.
The world is meant to last a long time. There is no fake world border and no planned map resets so anything you build should stick around. The difficulty is set to hard so mobs hit strong and you actually have to try.
The server lets you go on the nether roof and sleep is shared so when about a quarter of the players are in bed the night gets skipped. There is also a command to turn phantom spawns on or off for yourself if you hate those things. Respawn radius around spawn is increased so deaths feel less cramped.
The rules are pretty simple. No hacks or exploits no lag machines and no duping except for TNT carpet and rails which are allowed. Besides that the server is pretty loose and feels like a semi anarchy place.
Java and Bedrock players can both join and it is recommended to play on the latest version so stuff does not break.
