Oathwood SMP is a survival server where everything revolves around towns and community. It has Towny so players can build towns claim land and actually protect what they make.

There is an economy and it feels like players run most of it. People set up their own shops using Shopkeepers and trade with each other instead of just using some giant admin shop.

Builds are protected with ChestLock so your stuff is a lot safer. It makes the server feel more long term and not like you will lose everything in one night.

The gameplay is focused on balanced survival. It does not sound super crazy or over the top. It is more about playing for a long time and slowly growing your town and your friends.

The server lets both Java and Bedrock players join so more people can play together. It has space for about forty players which keeps it from feeling too crowded.

Astral Swords is a Java Minecraft server that runs version 1.21.10 and it feels like regular survival with a cool twist.

The server is mostly vanilla and the only real change is a custom sword plugin. It adds new swords that are made for PvP but the combat still feels fair and balanced. If you like fighting other players this is the main thing here.

There are PvP events hosted a lot so you will not just be running around bored. You can also build at spawn which is pretty fun because you get to see other players stuff right away.

There is no whitelist so you can just join and start playing. There are no pay to win things at all so everyone is on the same level. Outside of the special swords everything else plays just like normal Minecraft.

Legends of Stonehaven is a new medieval fantasy RPG server based on a big modpack. It is built around combat skills and magic so it really feels like an adventure game not just regular Minecraft.

The combat is completely changed with new animations and even a dodge move. There is a detailed skill tree and different origins so your character can feel unique and strong. You can find and use custom weapons armor trinkets bosses origins and divine blessings that are tuned for this pack.

As you explore the world enemies grow stronger the farther you go. There are two main magic mods that give a lot of abilities for both fighting and utility. The overworld the nether and the end all have new biome generation so everything fits the fantasy theme better.

There are hundreds of new dungeons and structures to explore plus five new dimensions to discover. The server also has over two hundred quests that you can do alone or with friends and some of them add extra story and lore about the world. There is even a quest shop where you can spend the coins you earn on useful items.

The pack is made to run well with performance mods to help fps and loading. There are also quality of life things like backpacks and storage systems so playing feels smooth and not annoying.

I found this server called The Oasis and it is a vanilla whitelist world that is all about civilization events and lore. The players are trying to build up their own big story and it already had a first season that was full of lore and funny events.

They are getting ready for season 2 and they want more people to join so the world feels more alive. The community sounds really fun and active and there are lots of different people who like to play together.

This is a new 18 plus Minecraft Java roleplay server with a dark fantasy story. It is all about a world after a huge disaster called the Cataclysm that wiped out almost everything.

The server uses a text based style of roleplay and it is modded. The world has custom lore about a group called the Scripture of Luminance. They follow four big virtues called Praxis Admonition Prosperity and Temperance. People in this world are scared of a second Cataclysm and there is tension between the nobles who follow the religion and the common folk.

Players are encouraged to make complex characters and do scheming and betrayal. The map is fully custom and made by the server build team. There is space for new player led towns where players can make their own laws and justice systems. City states can form alliances or go to war and that gives a lot of room for character growth and drama.

The community is for adults and they are still getting ready for a full launch. They are also looking for more staff lore writers and builders who want to help the world and story grow.
