Solarian SMP Season 7 is a new world with a fresh start for players who want a long term survival server. It is an 18 plus server so the community is made for adults who just want to relax and play.
The server is focused on chill gameplay and community. People build together and work on big projects over months. There is a player made shopping district where diamonds are used for trading and shops.
The rules are simple. You have to be 18 or older. It is whitelist only. The main rule is just do not be an ass. The admins say they do not power trip and the server is meant to feel fair.
To join you need to apply so they can get to know you as a person. If your first application is not accepted you are allowed to try again later. It feels like a place that wants real community and not just randoms coming and going.
WhimsyWillow is a small community SMP that is now in season 3 and this time it is modded. The mods were picked by the community so everyone had a say in what got added.
The world has over 100 biomes with different terrain and tons of structures so exploring feels really cool. There is also a map you can check so you can see the whole world and plan where you want to go.
The server has the Create mod so people can build machines and contraptions as long as they are reasonable. There are extra ores with new tools and weapons so progression feels more fun and not the same old grind.
Spawn is kept pretty and organized and there is a shop district where players can make their own shops and sell whatever they want. The server is always asking for suggestions to keep everything fair balanced and enjoyable for everyone.
There are events every now and then to keep the server alive and interesting and they are running one right now. The server is whitelist only but the application is short and they are always looking for new people who want to hang out and have fun. Everyone is welcome in the community.
BluMoon SMP is a chill vanilla server that feels really calm and relaxed. It is simple survival with no mods so it feels like regular Minecraft but with other players around.
The server is whitelisted so people have to apply before they can join. This makes it feel safer and more friendly because random trolls cannot just pop in.
The whole vibe is just to hang out and play with no stress. It sounds like a place where you can log on after school and build something cool or just wander around and relax.
If you want a peaceful SMP that is not crazy or sweaty and you like vanilla survival this server seems like a good fit.
GlowSMP is a new Vanilla plus survival server that feels close to normal Minecraft but with a bunch of helpful extras.
You can join on both Java and Bedrock and the world is for players who like building grinding or just chilling. There are claims so you do not have to worry about griefing and you can focus on your base.
The server has a lot of quality of life features like voice chat better harvesting chest sorting graves and an online world map. There are also special enchantment books that help with stuff like chopping whole trees or mining faster.
Fishing is a pretty big thing too. There are lots of new fish you can catch and sell plus a way to track what you have caught and leaderboards for the best fishers.
There is a jobs system that gives you experience and money for most things you do instead of locking you into just a few jobs. You can see leaderboards so you know who plays which style the most.
One of the coolest features is a central storage network that feels like modded storage. You can make a terminal in your base and link chests to it so it is way easier to search and store items.
The server is fully free to play. Everything is obtainable in game for everyone. Vote ranks give extra rewards and commands and there is a shop for people who want shortcuts but it is not required at all.
SwiftServers is a Minecraft hosting platform that is actually free and still feels professional. I checked it out and you can spin up a server really fast and it does not feel laggy or clunky.
They use a custom control panel that they built from scratch. It looks modern and is easy to use so you do not need to be a tech pro to run a server. You can make a normal vanilla SMP or go straight into heavy modpacks.
