PurpleSMP is a small survival server that feels really calm and safe. It is made for people who just want to build and relax in newer versions of Minecraft without random players ruining everything.
This server is PvE focused and PvP is off by default. If you actually want to fight you can toggle PvP on for yourself with a command. There are land claims so you can protect your base and every block placed or broken is logged so griefers can be caught.
The server uses mcMMO so you get skills as you play and there are playervaults when your normal inventory is not enough. There is also a Bluemap so you can look at the world like a map in your browser.
Staff take cheating and rule breaking seriously. There is a strong anti cheat and when someone trips it staff get alerted right away and can check what is happening. Your inventory is backed up when you join or leave or die so staff can restore things if you lose items because someone broke the rules.
The world started as a friends only server and later opened to the public and the plan is to never reset. It is meant to be a forever world where your builds can stay for a long time.

This is a semi vanilla SMP server that is all about survival and a chill community. It has a diamond based economy so players trade and shop using diamonds instead of fake money.
You can claim land with a golden shovel to protect your builds so people cannot grief your stuff. There are player shops and a shops menu so it is easy to browse or make your own store.
The server is made for both Java and Bedrock players so everyone can play together. There is a live world map you can look at in your browser and there are separate resource worlds so the main world stays clean.
You can earn ranks and vote rewards just by playing and voting. The gameplay is true survival and it is mostly PVE with no griefing and no keep inventory so dying actually matters.
There are weekly events and the community feels friendly and welcoming which is why players keep coming back.

The Perch is a chill SMP server that tries to feel like a second home. It is focused on a friendly community with no drama and no toxic behavior so it is easy to relax and just play.
The server is built around a survival feel. The staff think about how every change affects normal day to day gameplay so things never feel bloated or too crazy. Farms and redstone are meant to work like they do in normal Minecraft and many features can be toggled off if you do not like them.
There is a ranking system based on playtime so you unlock perks just by playing on the server. The economy is fair and balanced and a lot of it comes from player run shops which makes trading with others pretty fun.

Foggy Willows is a server for people who want Minecraft as close to normal as possible. It runs on the regular vanilla server jar with no datapacks and no plugins.
There is no big confusing spawn with a ton of signs to read. You basically join and you are in the world. You figure things out yourself.
Players here are supposed to handle their own social problems. There is no teleport or sethome and there is no world border. You just walk build mine and survive in hard mode.
You can play how you want and build what you want. Technical players are welcome too since it is always on the latest stable vanilla jar and hosted on a machine built for it.
There are no donations and no extra perks. It is just regular Java Minecraft with a small community that likes the real vanilla quirks and challenges.

Pixel Springs is a cozy modded SMP on version 1.20.1 and it is made for builders collectors and chill players who want a world that does not reset all the time.
The server has a big focus on building and decoration with lots of builder friendly mods. There are also tons of farming mods so you can grow crops cook meals and earn in game currency for finishing them. If you like collecting stuff there is a custom FTB Quests system that helps you collect different items and gives you goals to work on.
If you enjoy magic there are mods like Botania Hexerei Mystical Agriculture and Ars Noveau. There are also animal and creature mods so you can explore and find cute companions in the world.
The server uses in game currency that you earn from quests and daily rewards and you can use it to build shops in the shopping district and make your own little market. There is also a special resource world dimension that resets sometimes so the main world can stay long term while you still have fresh places to mine and explore.
The community is small friendly and welcoming and the server is still pretty new so you can join while it is in the early days. The admin team is active and tries to help players and there are frequent backups to keep the world safe.
