I found a Minecraft server that is running on Spigot with Geyser so Java and Bedrock players can try to join the same place.
Java players can join fine but Bedrock players cannot get in and it keeps failing when they try to connect.

They also use custom 1.21.4 packs for bases and cosmetics plus there are player vaults and the dragon can respawn so people can keep going back to the End. When you vote you get free crates and every perk on the server is earnable so nothing is locked behind paying real money.
They also have a vanilla world that is very close to pure Minecraft. It has no extra mechanics and it still has random teleport so you can explore easily.
The owners pay for the server out of their own pocket and they do not expect players to buy anything to have fun.
