This is a vanilla survival server that is made to last for years and not just short seasons. The world is meant to be long term and people can find each others bases and build anywhere.
The gameplay is pretty simple and fair. There are no pay to win perks no kits and no land claims. The world is kept playable for both Java and Bedrock players and weird movement stuff gets blocked so no one has an unfair edge.
The world does not reset and there are regular backups so your builds are safe. There are a few commands like sethome home and tpa. You can also vote to get one extra home for 24 hours.
The server runs on dedicated hardware in Germany and is focused on being a stable and fair vanilla style SMP.

Nations SMP is a Minecraft Java 1.20.1 server that uses a big Earth world so you play on real looking continents. Everyone can pick a place on the map and turn it into their own nation. You claim land and defend it as you grow stronger.
The server is modded and focuses a lot on tech industry and war. With the Create mod you build machines and factories and make big automation setups. Valkyrien Skies lets you build real moving ships and aircraft so fights can happen on land sea and air.
There are modern weapons and vehicles from the Warium mods and a guns mod so battles feel intense and tactical. You can have big wars between nations or smaller raids and fights. MineColonies lets you build and manage cities and colonies so your nation feels alive and busy.
FTB Chunks is used so you can claim your territory and keep your borders safe. Players can do diplomacy make alliances trade and start wars if they want. The whole idea is to shape global history on this Earth map using technology industry and military power.

This server is called Over The Hill Gamers and it is made for adults who like Minecraft. Most players are 30 or older and the community feels really calm and friendly. People here like to build and hang out in a relaxed way without drama.
The server is pure vanilla survival on Java 1.21.11 and it runs on hard difficulty. There is no PVP and no griefing so it is focused on peaceful survival and big builds. There are no strange land rules or special land systems. You just play and build like a normal world.
One cool thing is that the world does not reset. You can take a break for real life stuff and when you come back your base and items will still be there. This makes it good for big long term projects and mega builds.

This server is called Eden and it is all about building a world with kingdoms and nations. It feels like a civ game inside Minecraft where players create history instead of following a story.
Right now there is a kingdom called the Nation of Aurora. They control the northern mountains and they are rich and very defended. They want more players to help them get even stronger. The valleys under the mountains are still wild and empty so new players can move in and try to start their own rival nation.
The server runs on dedicated hardware and the plan is to keep it open for years so your builds and your kingdom do not just vanish. There are no mods so it feels like normal Minecraft. Both Java and Bedrock players can join so more friends can play together.
The economy is made by players so builders merchants and diplomats all matter. Builders work on the capital city and defenses. Merchants help by getting supplies and gear for building and protecting the kingdom. Diplomats talk and make deals with other nations so war does not always have to happen. Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy server that tries to feel like real vanilla survival with almost no rules. It launched on October 11th 2024 and it runs all the time on a host in New York City.
You can join on Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 and they say 1.21.10 works best. The world border is huge at 2 million blocks so there is tons of space to run far away and build or hide. There are no map resets so what you do stays in the world.
The server allows griefing and PvP everywhere. There is no teleporting except a simple spawn command so people far from others are not stuck alone forever. There is also no pay to win at all. Nether roof is allowed. Phantoms are removed so nights are less annoying and only half the players online have to sleep to skip the night.
There are still a few rules so it is not total chaos. Things like exploits lag machines and duping are not allowed. Spamming and harassment and racial slurs in chat are also not allowed. So you can fight and raid and play rough but you still have to act a bit normal in chat.
If you want a mostly vanilla survival server where players control everything and the world does not reset this server fits that style.
