Aegea is a semi vanilla SMP server that feels really simple and chill. It uses a few plugins so survival is still the main thing but you get helpful commands like help back and sethome. You can teleport to other players and do random teleport to get out into the wild fast.
The server has a basic player economy. You can make trade signs to sell stuff and use sell and sell hand to make money. Chests and doors can be locked so your base stays safe and staff use CoreProtect to rollback grief if something bad happens.
Ranks are all based on playtime. Everyone starts as a Nomad and then gets promoted to Peasant and then to higher ranks like Artisan and Noble for more commands and more sethomes. There is also a special rank called Premier that players vote for once a month so someone can be the top player rank for that month.
Players can join teams which are like factions where people share a name a home and warps. It is made for people who want to build stuff over time and be part of a close community.

Foxden is a small Java semi vanilla survival server that feels really cozy. It is made to be fun and friendly and the owner tries to be online a lot and hang out with everyone.
