PurpleSMP is a small survival server that was made by someone who was tired of worlds getting deleted after they spent a ton of time on them. It is meant to be a long term place where your stuff actually stays and you can keep playing without losing everything.
The server has crossplay so you can play on PC console or mobile. Everyone has to use the Discord so ranks can stay synced which makes it feel more organized and fair.
There is mcMMO so you can level up skills and get stronger over time. It makes normal Minecraft stuff like mining and fighting feel more like an RPG. There is also GriefPrevention so you can claim land and protect your builds from other players.
You can turn PvP on or off with TogglePvP so you choose if you want to fight or just chill. PlayerVaults give you extra storage for your items which is nice if you explore a lot.
Overall it feels like a chill survival server for people who want a long term world with some extra features and a small community vibe.

This is a vanilla anarchy server that uses only the official Minecraft jar files. There are no rules so players can do whatever they want.
The server runs on the snapshot 12w30b right now. It can update every week and the updates are decided by votes from the players. The owner wants to go through every official server version including snapshots and even april fools versions.
There are no exploits patched and no extra stuff added so it feels really raw. If you want pure chaos with no limits this server is made exactly like that.

Gatecraft is a minecraft server with an rpg style survival world.
It runs on version 1.21.10 so it is pretty up to date. The server has an rpg survival vibe where you play for a long time and slowly grow.
From what I saw the server wants a chill community that likes to survive together and explore. It feels like a place where you can just log in after school and grind for a bit or hang out with other players.

Ironclad Factions is a new server that is built for players who really like high stakes raiding and PvP. It feels like the old school factions style where skill actually matters and not just who has more people.
The server is made for small teams from three to eight players so there are no giant zerg factions taking over everything. Fights feel more fair and more intense because every player matters in your squad.
Combat is focused on the classic 1.8 PvP style using ViaVersion so hits feel clean and fast. If you like strafing combos and smooth fights this server is made for that kind of gameplay.
Raiding is a big part of the server. You need to think about cannon designs strong base builds and smart tactics when you go for a siege. It is more about planning and teamwork than just spamming TNT.
There are daily KOTH events so there is always something to fight over. The map is active with constant small battles and territory control so players who like nonstop action will probably enjoy it.

This server is called PGMC.WORLD and it is pretty simple but cool. When you join you can pick how you want to play.
You can go to a survival world with the slash server survival command. If you like building anything you want you can go to a creative world with slash server creative. If you like the game how it was meant to be you can go to a vanilla world with slash server vanilla.
I like that it just gives you the three main styles and lets you choose. It feels like you can hop between them depending on your mood. The community hangs out on their discord and the server feels like it is made for people who just want to play Minecraft in different ways without a bunch of extra stuff.
If you want survival creative and vanilla in one place this server does that.
