This is a new semi vanilla server that started in February 2024. The world is already pretty big and they plan to keep expanding it with every update. The idea is to stay close to normal Minecraft but fix annoying stuff that happens when a lot of people play together.
They use only a few plugins. Elytras are renewable through the ender dragon fight. There is a simple chest shop system that uses a currency you can swap with diamonds. Nights can be skipped if just one player goes to sleep.
The community is really about building. People make huge skyscrapers cozy villages and big farms like iron and raid farms. There is a nether roof hub that is easy to reach from spawn with blue ice boat roads.
There is no land claim system but they do protect builds and items with CoreProtect. It records block and item changes so grief can be rolled back super accurately. Every player can use the inspect command to check who touched their stuff without needing staff.
Staff members are active and many of them play a lot too. They are from different time zones so there is usually someone around and they answer fast on Discord and care about the server.

This server is called PGMC World and it has three different ways to play. You can join survival or creative or vanilla. You just switch with simple commands.
In survival you can focus on normal Minecraft style. You gather stuff and try to live and build with other players.
In creative you can just build what you want without worrying about resources. It feels like a good place to test builds or just mess around.
In vanilla you get the classic Minecraft experience. It is like playing normal Minecraft but with other people around.
The server makes it really easy to choose your playstyle so you can swap to whatever mood you are in that day.

This is a new SMP server that feels really chill and simple. It runs a fresh world and tries to stay as close to vanilla as it can so the gameplay feels like normal Minecraft survival.
The server is made for adults only so the community is 18 plus. It is meant for people who want to relax play survival and join events together.
You can play from both Java and Bedrock because the server is set up to support both. It also runs on dedicated hardware in the US so it should be pretty smooth.
There are server events hosted for the players so it is not just solo grinding. You can join and hang out with others and build up the new world together.

This is an anarchy style SMP that is trying really hard to not be toxic.
You can join if you like chaos and freedom but you still think of yourself as a good person.
The owner made this because they had trouble finding a non toxic community so they want people who are chill and not rude.

Ordinary SMP is a vanilla Java survival server that feels like a small friendly neighborhood. It is whitelisted so the players are more serious about actually playing and being respectful. Everyone joins to build explore and just hang out together.
The server runs on Minecraft Java 1.21.11 and they like to stay up to date. It is survival but the staff use tools like Ledger to check grief or theft so your builds are protected. That makes it feel safe to build big bases and long projects.
The community works on cool group builds and server wide events like pvp battles build contests and big projects. There is a custom resource pack that gives special cosmetics trophies and event rewards and it follows a HermitCraft type theme. Players can even share ideas for more custom items.
There are some nice quality of life features. BlueMap lets you see an interactive map of the world. Simple VoiceChat lets people talk in game instead of just typing. There is AudioPlayer for custom audio and the dragon can drop elytras so end game travel is easier.
Overall the server is about having a tight knit group that wants a long term survival world. Builders explorers redstone people or chill players who just want to vibe can all fit in here.
