This is a Minecraft server called Shinobi Reborn and it is made for people who like Naruto.
The server uses the ahnzb Naruto mod so players can play together with ninja style stuff. The owner says they do not want a huge amount of roleplay and they want to avoid unfair gameplay.
Right now the community is still small. There are about 11 people in the discord and they are hoping to reach around 25 to 30 players before fully starting. If they do not reach that goal soon they still plan to open a test server so people do not have to wait forever.
There is a voice chat mod included so players can talk while they play. The whole thing feels pretty chill and simple with a focus on playing Naruto mod with others instead of super serious roleplay.

This server is called tbfmc and it is all about real survival with no shortcuts. It is semi vanilla and it plays very close to normal Minecraft so it feels like how the game was meant to be.
You do not get free teleporting here. Instead players are supposed to build real infrastructure like nether highways connected towns and shared community areas. There is optional keep inventory but it is not forced.
They use custom plugins that they made themselves for land claiming towns and the player mall. These are only to protect builds and manage towns and shops and they do not change the basic vanilla gameplay.
You get one use of rtp so you can leave spawn and find a place to live. Commands are easy to find using the help gui. Towns and claims are done with the town command and player shops are made with the mall system.
If you like community survival and working on roads towns and malls this server feels like a good fit.

EmberFall is a whitelisted vanilla SMP that is made to last a long time. The world is planned to stay up for at least a year so it is not just for players who log in for a week and then quit. It runs on Java 1.21.11 and it started on July 18 so it is still pretty fresh.
The server feels a lot like Hermitcraft. People like to build big bases and also make farms that are super efficient. There are community projects like a shopping district and public farms and other shared areas. The idea is to work together and make a cool world that keeps growing over time.
The playerbase is mature and pretty chill. Everyone is expected to be respectful and community minded. Since it is whitelist only it stays safe from random griefers and spam. They are looking for active players who want to stick around and actually be part of a tight community and help build up the world.

WhimsyWillow SMP is a small modded server that feels pretty cozy and community based. Season 3 is running right now and every mod on the server was picked by the community so it feels like everyone helped shape the world.
There are tons of new biomes to explore and a bunch of extra structures so wandering around is actually fun. Progression has more ores plus new tools and weapons so you do not just rush the same gear like every other world.
The server uses the Create mod so people can build all kinds of wild machines as long as they are reasonable. There is also a world map with Bluemap so you can see the whole world and plan where to go or where to build.
Spawn is kept pretty and clean and there is a shop district where players can set up custom shops and sell whatever they want. The community always asks for suggestions and tries to keep everything fair and balanced and fun for everyone.
They run events every now and then to keep things active and they are doing one right now. It is a whitelisted server but applying is made simple with a short application. Everyone is welcome if you want to hang out build explore and join a laid back modded SMP.
