I found this server where people keep talking about weird lantern stuff. They are trying to figure out why lanterns keep acting strange and it is kind of funny to watch.
Players like to test things and mess with blocks and see what breaks. It feels like everyone is just experimenting and asking questions and helping each other.

AvalonEarth is an earth smp server where the whole world map is scaled 1 to 500 so there is a lot of space to claim and build your own nation.
The server runs Towny so nations and towns are a big deal here. Anyone can make a nation using the starter money that you get when you first join. You do not have to grind money or meet player requirements just to start.
The server is on its second season and the community feels active and growing. The first season built a solid player base and now the new season has a lot of new players joining.
If you like conflict this server has tons of wars and battles. If you do not like fighting you can still live a peaceful life and stay away from most of the wars if you want.
Money is mainly made through jobs farming and fishing and the owner says more ways are being added soon. Overall it feels like a nation building server with lots of player made stories and a mix of war and chill players.

This is a small survival smp that went quiet for a bit but the owner is trying to bring it back.
There is a discord with a few members where people can talk and plan stuff together.
The server lets both Java and Bedrock players join so more friends can play together in the same world.
It feels like a simple server where a small group can chill and slowly grow the community again.

This is a bedrock server that a mobile player joined. They used one name first then had to use a different name later. They tried to get their old stuff moved to the new account but the staff did not believe them.
The staff thought they were trying to hack or steal so they muted the player. Now they cannot even explain or ask for help in game. Changing the name on xbox costs money and their parents will not pay so they are stuck like this.
The server has drama between staff and players and it feels kind of unfair if you just want your items back and no one listens.
