Chilltown is a survival SMP that has been running since 2019 and it feels really calm and steady. The world has grown slowly over time with towns farms and different player projects so it feels like a place people actually live in.
The server is for people who like to play survival at their own pace and not feel rushed. Most players are adults and the community feels respectful and relaxed. It is not one of those pay to win servers and there are no constant resets so you can stay and build long term.
The world is custom made so it is not just random terrain and it has seasons that change how everything looks. This server is called Helianthus Solstice and it is an SMP about three big Houses that control everything important.
When you join you must pick a House. Adamant is the hardcore industrial mining and business side. Demeter is the nature and farming group that feels kind of communistic. Theurgy is the magic and research group that acts like greedy sorcerers. Your House actually matters since they control different resources everyone needs.
The world gets harder as players progress. At the start it is normal difficulty. When the first player reaches the Nether the whole world becomes hard. When someone gets to the End the world becomes extreme. The wild part is that the actions of your House help push these stages so you kind of work together early and maybe fight later.
There are also three gods named Scythia Leonidas and Bremen. Each god will run one big event this season where Houses compete and winners get divine favor. That makes their House stronger. Players can also do deeds for the gods to get gifts.
They tell you to read the House constitutions and lore before joining because your choice really matters. It feels like a server where politics and alliances and maybe future wars are a big deal.

Sparked is a long term survival world that feels like you just joined a friends server. It is very simple and close to pure vanilla and it is all about a chill social SMP.
The server is trust based. There are no big text menus and no warps and no land claims and only a few quality of life things. You kind of just spawn in and start playing and meeting people like a casual friend world.

Headrest SMP is a paper Minecraft server that focuses on PvP and community. The server runs on version 1.20.10 and has a pretty active player base.
The world is survival style where you can build bases and fight other players. There is a safe zone at spawn where PvP is off so people can build shops and just hang out. In spawn people also use a simple voice chat mod so they can talk to each other easily.
The server uses a few quality of life plugins. There is no elytra allowed when you are in combat so fights are more fair. There is a combat log plugin so you cannot just leave to escape fights. There is also a sit command and some other small plugins that make the game feel nicer.

VitaNova is a new semi vanilla SMP that just opened and the world still feels fresh. A lot of the custom world is untouched so you can explore and find your own place to build.
The server uses a Lands plugin so you can claim land and keep your builds and loot safe. It feels good to build without worrying about people stealing or griefing.
There is a player economy with Jobs and an AuctionHouse so you can earn money just by playing and then trade your stuff with others. It makes normal survival feel more rewarding.
Fishing is way more interesting here because of the PyroFish plugin. You can catch different custom fish with rarities and there are fishing tournaments where players compete.
There are also some crates that are pretty easy to get so you can get a small boost while you play. For the launch there are free items you can claim with a calendar command until the end of January.
