ClubTurtle is a server I created many years back to play survival with my friends, I’ve been hosting it using Server.pro and people have come and gone, but mostly only a few players stay, so I’m trying to post it online to try to get more friendly players. My wish is to have a server filled with wholesome or at least friendly players who build a community together; I want that kind of small-server/small-town feel where everyone knows each other.

The server is whitelisted for protection, on hard difficulty, keepInventory is on, and you get a few cosmetic permissions like nick and chatcolor. It is not a true survival, it has essentials and some other stuff, but no wild or rtp. This server has ViaVersion and ViaBackwards so players can join from v1.9 all the way to v1.20.4 but it is best to stay on the latest version so you can experience the newest features. We also have a heads plugin, armorstand editor, silence name tags, etc. The world border will expand a bit with every major update, and unused chunks will be reset to save space and make room for new updated biomes or loot.

If you have played on my server and like it, on the server page in the link below, you can donate some money toward keeping the server online as I have to pay for it out of pocket. I cannot use the money, it will go toward the server.

You can use nick the normal way “/nick [username] input” and the chatcolor is either “/chatcolor GUI” or “/chatcolor [color code]”.

TLDR: This is a very small server with a few players that are trying to grow. It is for friendly players who are looking for a small community server and it is whitelisted to protect it from griefers.

Server Rules: – No griefing or raiding of people’s bases. This rule is the strictest rule.– If you break anything around spawn (trees, village stuff, etc.), please replace it.– Do not build or say anything vulgar, offensive, or NSFW. Keep the server clean or friendly.– No offensive usernames.– Hacks and cheats are not allowed. A Timeline of The Celestial Expanse (Colossal Combat)

Early-Mid 2015-2016 — C_Corp2002 Started toying with the idea of a Minecraft Server, but didn’t know what it should looklike. (Something Sci-Fi/Space)

Late 2016 — C_Corp2002, ButtonmashTP (Now: Oshwatt), Millycow, Crazymario5, and MusicalDuck (All IRL friends of C_Corp2002) started playing a Mojang-Hosted Realms SMP Server for fun and hanging out.

Late 2016-Early 2017 — The first Realm expired. C_Corp2002 wanted something similar to the experiance we had back with the realm, so C_Corp2002 took it upon themself, and started learning programming/”Code” and how to use many other programs and software. C_Corp2002 started a few small test servers to get a feel for running a Spigot/Bukkit-based Minecraft Server.

Mid 2017-Late 2017 — Colossal Factions was born out a merger between the original concept of “A cool place to hangout after school”, and a “A place where epic battles and nations canrise and fall”. It eventually picked up a few non-IRL players along theway. Most notably Gateway_Guardian (Now: Hoshi) who has became a greatly trusted and valued friend to C_Corp2002.

Early 2018-Late 2018 — Colossal Factions expanded upon the previous concept and grew more into what we can recognize nowadays; A multi-server network with many Planets in addition to Buildable, block-based, Movecraft Vehicles. Colossal Combat was born.

2019-Present Colossal Combat/The Celestial Expanse has grown a lot since 2018, *far too much to write down, But a brief summary of what has been added is as follows:

If you want to play Minecraft as it was intended to be played, you’ve come to the right place.

Most Minecraft servers don’t really let you play Minecraft. Minigames, Factions, kit PvP, and economy servers all advertise exciting gameplay. These servers can be fun, but by piling on new features and changing how the game works, they take some of the magic out of Minecraft and end up providing an experience that in many cases has already been done better by other popular games. It can be hard to find a server that doesn’t suffer from this in some way; even servers that promise vanilla gameplay are often plagued by cheaters, unresponsive/abusive staff, lag, or crashing, and often have gameplay-changing plugins, restrictive rules, or unnecessary features that don’t improve the experience.
