Reforged SMP is a server that feels like classic Minecraft but with some extra cool stuff.
The owner always wanted their own server and finally learned some coding to make it happen. You can really tell they put a lot of thought and love into the design.
The server has custom classes quests and weapons but everything is still balanced and easy to understand. You are not stuck wondering what some random feature does or what an item is even for.

I found this new Minecraft SMP called Gistcraft and it is just starting from day one so everyone is kind of fresh and equal.
The server is semi vanilla so it feels like normal Minecraft but with some extra stuff. There are teams so you do not have to play alone if you do not want to. There is an economy and auctions so players can trade and sell items instead of just grinding alone.
They also use proximity chat so you can talk in voice when people are near you in game. It supports different platforms so more people can join and play together. There are events and some unique plugins like player head drops that make pvp and collecting stuff more fun.
The community is still small and early so new players can help shape how the server grows before it gets huge. It really feels like the kind of place where you can join now and be there for the whole journey.

This is a small modded SMP called Dragon's Den that has been running for about four years. The owner keeps it up all the time and does not plan to stop.
The server only has a few active players so it feels pretty chill and not crowded. The mod pack gets changed every now and then to keep things fresh. It was just changed recently so it should stay the same for a while.
If you want a long term place to play modded survival with a small group this server feels like that kind of vibe. They are basically waiting for new players to join and start their own journey in the Dragon's Den.

This is a small private survival server called WizeCraft that is made for players who are 21 or older. It started as a friends only world in August 2025 and later opened up with an application system. The server wants to grow slow and steady and have a long term forever world with cool builds and nice people.
The play style is very chill and non competitive. People focus on building and community instead of rushing or flexing. The Ender Dragon is already defeated and some players made auto farms and shops at spawn. You can buy materials with diamonds so it is easier to get started and build.
There is a whitelist and you have to apply so the server can stay safe from griefing stealing and bad behavior. The rules are pretty strict about no bigotry no cheating and no griefing. PVP is only allowed if both players agree first so it stays peaceful.
The staff will add plugins when they are really needed or when players ask for good ideas. Right now it is a small group of around 20 players total with about one to three online at a time so it feels calm and cozy. The server is on Minecraft version 1.21.10.
