This is a chill vanilla plus style server that uses the Origins mod so players can pick custom abilities and weaknesses. It feels like a small friend group that slowly grew into an established community and they try to keep that vibe.

Rosedalean SMP is a new Minecraft world that feels like a small friendly town that is still being built.
It is an 18 plus whitelisted server so people here act a bit more mature and the staff takes the community seriously. They listen to suggestions and try to improve things when players speak up.

This is a brand new hardcore vanilla style SMP that just opened and it feels really fresh. The world is less than a week old so you are not super behind yet.
It runs on the newest Minecraft update with stuff like copper golems spears and horses that can swim. The server is very close to true vanilla with only minimal plugins. There are no ranks and no pay to win so everyone has the same chance to survive.
This server is hardcore so when you die you get tempbanned instead of just respawning. That makes every fight and every cave run feel scary and fun. There is a large world border so everyone still feels like they are in the same world and not a million blocks apart.
When you first join you get some starter items plus invis and regen so you can sneak away from spawn safely and start your own base without getting spotted right away.

SurvivalTales SMP is a semi vanilla server that just opened and it already feels pretty cozy. It is based in the EU and the whole idea is to make survival more fun without going too crazy with mods.
The server lets Java and Bedrock players join so friends on different platforms can play together. The world has custom generation and custom structures in the Overworld the Nether and the End so exploring actually feels new and not just the same default map.
There is a player based economy and the grind is slower so progress feels earned instead of instant. The server has anti grief so builds are protected and you can focus on surviving and building instead of worrying about random destruction.
They added PyroFishing PyroMining and mcMMO so skills and gathering are more interesting. There is ArtMap for drawing pixel art and there are mob plushies plus a live map that lets you see the world from a browser. Ranks can be earned by voting and there is no pay to win at all.
Overall the server feels like a chill semi vanilla survival world with some cool custom content and a focus on fair play and a friendly community.
