Stonehaven SMP is a small chill Minecraft server that just got a fresh reset and is trying to grow a friendly community. People join and play at their own pace and most just like to build talk and hang out together.
The server runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric and it uses only a few quality of life mods. There is in game voice chat so players can talk while they play. There is land claiming so your base is safe and you can even fly inside your claim which makes building big projects a lot easier.
The world has upgraded terrain and structures so places like the Nether the End villages mansions temples strongholds and more feel new and different. Trees can be chopped down in one go. There are backpacks decorations furniture custom bridges doors and windows. There are also waystones and towers to help with traveling and chests around the world restock after some time.
Players can build alone or make new friends or even try to speed run. The whole point is to have a relaxed place to play and the owner is open to adding more mods if the players ask for them.

Ancient Echoes is a whitelisted SMP for adults who want a Minecraft world that actually feels alive. It is 18 plus only and runs on Java 1.21.11 with Fabric.
When I joined I noticed people actually talk in chat and hang out in voice. Players build together and plan big projects and there are group adventures and challenge raids. It feels more like a real community than a random server.
The server uses a diamond economy and it keeps things simple with no plugins for shops. There is a nether hub and highway plus roof travel. In the overworld and on the nether roof there is a road network that is still being built.
They run events that last more than one day like games tournaments mini competitions and special spin off weeks such as Skyblock or Lifesteal style weeks. There are also seasonal events for things like Halloween and Christmas.
The server is trust based and relaxed. Rules are minimal and there are no complicated land claims. There is no pay to win at all and there are no paid cosmetics or donor perks so everyone is equal.
There is a shared community jukebox with rotating music where players can set the vibe for everyone. The server also has proximity voice and group chat plus a Blue Map. There are proxies aimed at players in APAC and EU so they can connect through Hong Kong or Amsterdam.

This server is based on the Life series so it feels kind of like a Minecraft gameshow that is similar to the Hunger Games.
Everyone gets a set number of lives. Green means you have three lives. Yellow means you have two lives. Red means you are on your last life. When you hit your last life you turn hostile so things get really intense.
The server uses the Life series mod and it also has proximity voice chat so you can actually talk to people who are close to you in game. It makes traps and alliances feel way more real.
The community is 13 plus and people are expected to be reasonably mature. You have to respect other peoples boundaries and not be annoying. If you want a high tension survival world with drama and last life madness this is it.

This server feels like a chill survival world that has grown for a long time and the staff really care about it. It is a custom survival server that still feels pretty close to vanilla but with extra quality of life stuff. It runs on Minecraft Java 1.21.10 and the difficulty is set to Hard so the game is not super easy.
There are mcmmo skills jobs leveled mobs a separate resource world stacked mobs and spawners and both server and player shops. You can use player warps too. The playtime ranks system gives more perks the longer you stay and play so it really rewards people who stick around.
When you die you do not just lose everything forever right away. You get sent to a fairy where you have the chance to buy your items back. There are useful commands like random teleport homes sethomes a warp to the resource world regular warps and also cosmetics and tags.
The spawn is custom built and looks planned out and below it there is a PvP arena. There are custom Ender Dragon fights where players can team up to defeat the dragon together. There is also custom fishing with tournaments and more stuff built around it.
The server has an in game shop and an auction house plus chest shops so players can run their own economy. The community seems really welcoming and they like helping new players and making the place feel like an online home for everyone.

GlowySMP is a new semi vanilla survival world that uses a whitelist so the server feels more safe and relaxed. It has a really friendly community that wants more players to join and hang out.
The server has a full economy system so you can earn money and trade with other players. There are player warps and shops so you can build your own store or visit other bases. There are land claims so your builds stay protected.
There are community events where people can play together and do fun stuff. You can use jobs to make extra money while doing normal things like mining or building. There is also a separate resource world so the main world does not get destroyed.
The server has PyroFishing and mobcatchers and also crates and ranks so there is always something to work toward. Overall it feels like a chill survival server with a focus on economy and community.
