This server is called HIVE SMP and it is a survival world where your stuff and your money are always at risk. It is not chill peaceful survival. It is more like every choice can cost you.
The combat system is built to punish cowards. If you log out while fighting you drop your items and lose cash. When you die in pvp half of your inventory drops for the killer and the other half comes back to you. Your armor is kept safe on death so you can jump back into fights faster but you still feel the loss.
The economy is risky on purpose. If someone kills you in the wild they steal ten percent of your balance straight into their account. If you die to mobs or the environment you still pay a two percent bank fee and you also lose xp. So even normal survival mistakes hurt.
There is a safe spawn region where nobody can steal your money. That makes spawn feel like a trade hub and meeting place instead of a constant trap.
Players can make teams and claim land using commands so you can build bases and empires and keep your loot protected. The money system is meant to be player driven and cash is hard to earn and easy to lose. The server runs on Minecraft version 1.21.11 with a focus on being optimized for less lag.

This is a new survival server that was made for people who want to make Minecraft content and actually improve at it.
From what I see it is a long term SMP that stays really close to vanilla with just a few small tweaks to keep it fun for everyone.

BlocksAlot is a survival server that has been running since 2015 and the world never resets. Everything you build can stay there for a long time so it really feels like you are leaving your mark.
The server is semi vanilla and it is all about long term progression. There are no land claim plugins and no protection plugins. This means you actually have to think about where you build and who you trust. The owner plays on the server and there is basically no staff intervention so players shape the world.
There is a player driven economy with mob bounties so fighting mobs and exploring actually matters. The server also has Slimefun for extra technology progression and there are magic systems that are tied to how you interact with the world.
If you like building and planning there is a separate creative plot server. It has tools like WorldEdit Voxelsniper and GoBrush so you can test and plan your builds before bringing them into survival or just show them off.

This server is called The Settlement SMP and it feels like a community that actually trusts each other. It is mostly vanilla and there are no land claims and no huge custom economy. Instead players are expected to respect other players and their builds.
There is no griefing and no stealing allowed. Admins watch over the world and make sure the rules are followed so people can relax and build without worrying all the time.
The server is on version 1.21.11 Java. It runs events about every two or three weeks. These events let players do PvP depending on the event type and the prizes are legendary weapons that are based on Greek gods.
The plugins are there just to make the game more fun without changing it too much. There is Simple Voice Chat so people can talk in game. There are clans that are just for chat. There are faster ghasts for extra chaos. There are mob heads and anticheat and an Ishop that is used for a player run shopping district. Banitem is used so certain items can be restricted during PvP events.
To keep the community positive and friendly everyone has to apply to be whitelisted. You need to actually try on your application or you probably will not be accepted. It feels like the server really cares about having good players instead of just big numbers.

This is a modded SMP using All The Mods 10 and it is focused on PvE. The server runs on NeoForge 1.21.1 and has a ton of quality of life commands you can use right away like home back tpa and random teleport. It feels like a place where you can just chill grind and slowly build up your world.
You can claim land solo or with a team and you can use force loads so your stuff keeps running. There are fantasy themed playtime ranks that reward people who stay for the long term. There are also donation ranks that only give extra convenience like more claims more forceloads and more homes but no pay to win boosts.
The server has lots of small features like craft anvil stonecut enderchest and grindstone commands so you do not always need the actual blocks. There is an auction house and sign shops for trading between players and monthly leaderboards where the top three players get custom items and some special Bagelbite currency that is still being worked on.
The staff is always doing fixes and performance and stability improvements and they really try to keep it a stable community driven server. Chat is linked with their discord so people can talk from inside or outside the game. Overall it is a PvE based modded SMP that wants to last a long time and stay fair for everyone.
