OrianaMC is a survival server that feels upgraded in a cool way. It is still Minecraft survival but with more stuff to work for and more ways to feel like you are actually growing on the server.
You can build your own town and even create a kingdom. As you play you rise in power and it is meant to feel chill not super sweaty. The community wants a relaxed place where people can hang out and slowly build up their progress.
There are jobs and skills instead of admin shops. You pick a skill and then you earn money by doing tasks like mining or farming. Your skills are how you pay for things so playing the game is what gives you cash.
Monsters can drop special fragments and cores sometimes. You trade those in to get something called a Rubedite. Then you use Rubedites to buy items that have custom textures and that can get enchantments stronger than normal vanilla ones.
The server has more than ten in game ranks you can unlock just by playing. Each new rank costs more and is harder to get so it rewards people who stay and keep grinding with cooler perks.
There are also gemstones auctions events and other features that keep things from getting boring. Overall OrianaMC looks like a relaxed survival server where you slowly build towns kingdoms and your own power over time.

This server is called CinderCivs and it is a vanilla plus geopolitical roleplay world. It has been running for over two years without a reset so everything players build and every war or treaty actually stays and matters.
The world has a special map with a big claimable area that will not reset. Outside that there is a larger map that gets reset on big updates so people can explore and mine new stuff. There is a one to one nether and there are faster railways and pathways plus some custom crafting that helps builders.
Elytra are banned so players make real infrastructure like roads and rail lines instead of just flying over everything. There is also a plugin made for roleplay so nations and characters feel more official.
Players form nations that can go to war make alliances trade and do diplomacy. Each nation has its own style of government and power structure so there are different ways to get influence. Some nations have been around since the start and still shape what new players see when they join.
The community likes long term worldbuilding and creative projects. People write lore draw art make maps and flags and keep building on the same world for years. If you want a serious but friendly roleplay server where your actions can change the world this is what the server is about.

I found this server called Aetheria and it is a brand new FFA PvP world. It is already pretty chaotic and everyone is fighting all the time.
The server is looking for staff to help keep the fights fair and the chat not totally awful. They want people who are active and chill and can tell the difference between real skill and hacking. They also really do not want staff who abuse powers for free loot.
You can apply to be staff by filling out their application form. The idea is to help shape the server from the very first days so the community stays fun and the battles stay fair.

This is a Java SMP that feels really cozy and friendly. It is based in the UK and it is mostly vanilla with small quality of life tweaks that make building a lot nicer.
There is a real event team that runs events pretty often and they even do a movie night every Sunday. The server uses some kind of extra system to make talking and interacting with other players more fun.
They also have a very active discord with people hanging out in voice all the time. The community feels active growing and super welcoming. They are clearly looking for long term players who want to stay for the whole journey and not just join for one day.

This is a brand new survival smp that is just opening and people are already hanging out in the community and planning what to build.
The server is a fresh survival world that is meant to last for a long time and not get wiped all the time. It is made for chill and friendly players who actually want to talk and build stuff together instead of just rushing and leaving.
There are land claims and grief protection so your base is safe. There are player shops and an economy so you can trade and make your own little business. The server also has events and crates and some kind of progression but it is not pay to win so you do not have to buy stuff to have fun.
