AvalonEarth is a geopol style earthsmp server with a big 1 to 500 scale earth map. There is a lot of room to make nations and spread out.
The server uses Towny so players can create towns and nations. Anyone can start a nation because you get starter money when you join. You do not need a bunch of requirements first.
This server is now in its second season. The first season started in September and a strong community grew from that. The second season is already getting a lot of new players.

Hardcore SMP is a hardcore survival multiplayer server that works on both Java and Bedrock. It is meant for players who want a real challenge with high risk and no pay to win stuff.
The world does not reset so everything you build really matters. There is no teleporting to other players and you only get a few basic commands like randomtp one time plus home and spawn. It feels close to vanilla but with a few extra systems that make multiplayer more interesting.
The economy is all player based. There are no server shops for normal items. You get coins from killing mobs and looting chests. Then you trade with other players or use the auction house to buy and sell.
There is a detailed land claiming system so you can protect your base and farms from griefing. Your claims are safe while you are alive but if you die your claims are deleted and the land becomes open again. That makes death really scary because you lose your gear and also your protected land.
The server is completely non pay to win. There is only one rank called VIP and it only has cosmetic perks. There is also a revive you can buy that is basically like starting over on a brand new account so you can play again after dying without actually buying another Minecraft account.

Terrashift is a whitelisted vanilla style SMP server where people mainly focus on building together and making a nice community. It runs on Minecraft 1.21.11 and tries to stay as close to vanilla as possible.
The server feels a lot like Hermitcraft. Some players work on big redstone farms and contraptions. Others just want to make a small cozy base and relax. Both play styles are welcome and people are encouraged to collaborate and help each other.

This server feels like a real survival challenge. The world has a 5k border so you can not just run forever. You have to deal with other players and real danger.
Raiding and pvp are allowed so you are never fully safe. There is no cheating allowed so everyone has to work for what they get. It is not a chill easy server. It is more like you either fight or hide.
