Overview

Waychest is a custom-built Minecraft experience that extends vanilla survival mode with an emphasis on exploration and building. It is a hybrid of a public multiplayer server and a private Realm where players start their journey in a shared world that appears to be their own.

Feature Highlights

“Journey” System: Players are placed into their own “Journey” with a random spawn point in a shared survival world, allowing for collaboration with others.
Waychests: Special chests that guide players across the world and reward them for seeking them out.
“Waychest Flight” Minigame: Players can craft an Elytra and engage in an in-world flying minigame to reach Waychests.
Discovery-based Warps: Fast travel between certain blocks by unlocking warp points.
Integrated Region Protection: Waychests create expandable protection areas for blocks and containers.
“Radiance”: Skip the night by gaining a protective effect against surface mob spawns.
Region Maps: Pre-explored maps for easy navigation.
Custom Advancements: Custom mechanics with associated advancements.

This multiplayer server is entirely Vanilla Minecraft. We have implemented a system of team PvP to help improve your experience and make us somewhat unique. Gather a team together and kill other players to advance to become the winners of the week. Each week a new prize is given out to the winning team. If teams are tied, they will fight it out in our custom-built Colosseum. Fights will be held there regularly if you are seeking to actually gain some items rather than just points. The Podzol Network is all about unique, entertaining gamemodes, such as Wizardry, where you will find yourself when you first join.

On Wizardry, you slay monsters, survive blood moons, fight bosses, level up spells, go on quests, summon minions, get achievements, find rare items, craft powerful spells, and explore dangerous, wealthy ruins. Wizardry is Survival, and there is PvP, you can protect your houses using a protection spell (which can be cast on sponges). But beware! If your protection is not leveld up, other players can take it over using a protection curse!
