So I found this server called HyperBlocks and I have been playing on it for a couple days now. It is mainly a survival server and the layout of the world is super cool.
There are usually around eight players online when I join and everyone is really sweet and nice to talk to. It feels kind of cozy because it is not super crowded but it is never totally empty.
The owner is on a lot and gives out free stuff pretty often. They also help you if you do not understand some of the addons the server uses. So even if you are not used to extra features you do not really get lost.
Overall it just feels like a fun chill place to play survival and hang out with nice people.

SnowFallSMP is a small chill survival server that tries to stay really close to vanilla Minecraft. It is a whitelisted semi vanilla SMP so you actually get that classic multiplayer world feeling instead of a bunch of random plugins.
The server runs on Minecraft 1.21.10 and has some simple quality of life stuff. Things like multiplayer sleep fast leaf decay discord and Minecraft chat together armor stand posing some optimization mods and an advancement datapack called blazeandcave. There is also a little in game status mod but that one needs a client side mod.
The community is 16 plus so it is more mature and calm. People are expected to respect each other their builds and all community areas. There is no hacking no pvp no griefing and no stealing allowed. No advertising is allowed and there is no content creation on the server so it stays relaxed and not like a stream show.
To join you fill out a short seven question application with a couple of choice questions. After that if you fit the vibe you can hop in and play on a simple cozy SMP world with other players who just want to build hang out and enjoy survival together.

This server is called North Survival and it is on Season 2 right now so it feels like a fresh start for the new year. It is a survival server with pvp so you can build up and also fight other players.
There is click villagers so trading is really easy and fast. You can use rtp to find a new place to build without running forever. You can use tpa to teleport to your friends so playing together is simple.
The server has a custom ui and a protected spawn so it feels organized and safe when you first join. The performance is stable so it does not feel super laggy. It supports Minecraft version 1.21.4 and also other 1.21 clients.
Overall it looks like a chill community that is looking for more players to join for this new season and just play survival pvp together.

This is a semi vanilla SMP called SurviveWithUs. It feels like classic Minecraft but with some quality of life stuff added. The owners try to keep the original game vibe so it does not feel like a modpack or a giant minigame server.
The community is small and close and some of the players have known each other since 2019. The whole goal is to feel like an OG server where people actually talk and remember you. Players get to help make decisions and there is a place to suggest ideas for new features.
Most of the plugins are custom so the staff can add things the players ask for. They focus on making the gameplay smoother and more fun instead of changing everything. There is no MCMMO and no crazy pay to win ranks.
The server is anti p2w so you do not need to spend money to get anything important. You also do not have to vote every day just to rank up. Instead there is a custom system where you level up just by playing. Voting only gives small thank you rewards and is not required to progress.
Overall it looks like a chill survival server for people who want a friendly community and a simple vanilla style experience without grindy vote systems or paywalls.

This is a faction on a server called Kronos SMP where nations and factions are simulated. The group is named Nether Corporation and it feels like a mercenary company in Minecraft.
Players who join Nether Corp are treated like contractors. They get trained and fed and are treated like they are part of the company. When it is time to fight for whoever hired the faction you get paid. It is all about courage and skill more than anything else.
You can join as a mercenary or you can join as a regular civilian who wants to help fight against the mercs. The whole thing feels like a cool roleplay war between a powerful company and the people who want to take it down.
The server is lightly modded and it focuses on nations and factions and politics. It is good if you like stories made by players and you want to be part of a bigger world instead of just playing alone.
