Purrfect SMP is a new survival world that uses vanilla rules but has some quality of life mods. It runs on Fabric and still feels like normal Minecraft but smoother and with extra small features.
The server has Towns and Towers so there are new structures to find like different ships and ocean style villages. It makes exploring feel fresh and gives more reason to travel far from spawn.
Right now the server is pretty small with under twenty people in the community so it feels friendly and close. It is meant for long term play and there are no plans to reset the world. They back up the world every day and use a ledger plugin like Coreprotect for Fabric so builds are protected.
The server is for 18 plus only and they want players who answer honestly and put effort into their application. It is also a safe place for everyone and is LGBTQIA plus friendly.
The End is still closed and is planned to open on January twenty third in an event at six p m PST. There is no world border and they already generated land out to twenty thousand blocks in the overworld so chunks load better.
The staff uses extra tools like BlueMap so you can view the world in a browser and see what people are building. Overall it feels like a cozy adult vanilla style SMP with a focus on community and long term builds.

HomesteadCraft is an adult only server for players who are 21 or older. It has a survival world that has been running for about four years and the map never resets. It only expands when there is a new update.
The community is pretty small and chill and there is no drama and no kids. People here like to build big bases and huge projects since they know their stuff will not get wiped.
The server runs Java 1.21.10 and has a few quality of life plugins. There is one player sleep and normal difficulty and Java only. It uses anti grief and land claims so your builds are safe. There is also Aura skills and an Acuteloot plugin plus a player run shopping district and even a gaming island.
To keep the main world nice they use separate resource worlds. There is a resource overworld a nether and an End that reset every week so you can gather stuff there instead.
There is no required playtime so you can log in when you have time. Most of the plugins can be toggled off if you do not like them so you can play the way you want.

This is a semi vanilla survival server that really focuses on quality of life and the old school Minecraft vibe. It does not use stuff like MCMMO and does not try to change the game into something totally different. It just feels like normal Minecraft with helpful features.
The community is small but very close. Some of the players have been together since 2019 and they rebuilt the server after it was abandoned in 2023. Now they are trying to grow again and bring in more people who want a friendly place to play.
The owners use a lot of custom plugins that they made themselves. Because of that they can add new things that players ask for. I found this server called 5tarRock and it is a small semi vanilla world that is getting close to release. The owners have been building it for about four months and they made a completely custom map that looks really detailed.
The whole idea is about realism. You do not just get stuff for free and you actually have to work for everything. Auto farms are turned off so you cannot just afk and win. There is custom ore generation and custom combat and even a custom climate system so the world feels different from normal Minecraft.
The community is small and they are looking for more players who like a challenge and want to grind. Right now they are also running a 125 dollar contest for redesigning their logo and banner and all you have to do is make and submit a picture for a chance to win.

This is a hardcore vanilla server that is still pretty new and the world has only been open for less than a month.
When you join you start in a small protected spawn zone. You get invis and regen there and a few starter items so you can escape spawn and head out into the wild. After that it is all up to you.
The server is true vanilla. There is no tpa and no home commands. There are no ranks and no pay to win stuff. It is just normal Minecraft survival but on hardcore mode.
If you die you get temporarily banned from the server so every fight and every cave is a big risk. You really have to be careful and think before you jump into danger.
The server works on the newest update with Copper Golem and supports both Java and Bedrock players on the listed versions so more friends can play together.
