SnowFallSMP is a chill semi vanilla SMP that feels really cozy and friendly. When I joined I noticed there are usually a good amount of people on and everyone seems pretty relaxed. The server is Java 1.21.10 and it has a simple mod and datapack setup so it still feels like normal Minecraft but a bit smoother for multiplayer.
The world is meant to be long term with no resets so people can work on big projects without worrying about losing them. There are all kinds of players like village builders cave people explorers collectors grinders and fighters. The community is very accepting and is LGBTQ plus friendly and it is for players who are 16 or older.
The rules are simple but strict enough to keep things safe. No griefing no stealing no hacking or cheating no abusing bugs and no pvp unless everyone agrees. People are expected to respect other players builds community areas staff and the server hardware. There is no NSFW stuff allowed and they do not want content creation on the server.
They use a short application to join so they can avoid bots and scam accounts and make sure new players actually fit in. Staff is active and focused on keeping the server safe from people who just want to cause problems. Overall it feels like a small cozy SMP where you can slowly build and hang out with others without drama.

LoungeSMP is a new semi vanilla SMP that already feels alive. I joined and the world is not empty at all. Players are building trading and just hanging out together.
It is still early so you can join now and actually leave your mark on the world. There is room to build your base and meet new people while everything is still growing.
The End is opening tomorrow and everyone is getting ready for the fight. There is a battle coming for the dragon and the dragon egg so if you like PvP this part is for you.
The server runs on Java 1.21.11 so it is using the newer version of the game.

Blue Hat SMP is a cracked survival server where you can just hop in and play with your friends.
You can join with cracked accounts and with official accounts so pretty much anyone can get on. The server is online all the time so you do not have to wait for the owner to log in.
The rules are simple. You can do whatever you want as long as you are not cheating. That means no hacks and no unfair stuff but you still have a lot of freedom to play your own way.
The community feels active and there are people around to talk to and play with. It looks like a chill place if you just want to survive build and hang out with others on an SMP world.

This is a small modded SMP that is opening on February 2nd and it is looking for more players who want to stick around for a long time. The owner really wants active people who like to hang out and just play together.
The server is Java and uses Fabric on version 1.20.1. It has Create for cool machines and farms and Farmers Delight for better food. There are backpacks to help with storage. There is Naturalist for more animals and world life. There are Small Ships and Immersive Aircraft for fun travel and exploring.
The server is meant for people who want a chill place to play survival with mods and stay for a while. If you like building machines farming exploring and just vibing with others this server fits that.

Waychest is a PvE semi vanilla SMP that feels like one giant shared survival world.
When you join you start a Journey. It is like your own little server inside the big world. You get a random spawn and you can play alone or with friends. Each Journey has its own progress and its own spawn so it feels personal but still connected.
As you explore you find special Waychests. These chests reach across the world to other Journeys. They give rewards and also guide you toward places other players have built. Later when you are stronger you can craft your own Waychests so new players can discover your builds too.
There is also a flying minigame that uses Elytra. You gather the ingredients then you fly through rings that lead you to a Waychest made by another player. There are discovery based warps too so you can fast travel between certain blocks after you find them first.
The server runs on Java version 1.21.11 and mostly keeps a vanilla feel. Almost every custom thing like Journeys and Waychests is built just for this server. It is PvE so the focus is exploring and building together instead of fighting other players.
