Nowadays, it seems like most Minecraft servers have way too much content, and it can get confusing or frustrating. I miss the old days when servers were simple and the goal of the game was to have fun with friends, starting a community, and sharing creations. I decided to start up a server based on those principles.

SimpleTowns is a simple server with simple plugins. The goal is to build together in a friendly environment and have fun. It has a player-driven economy with plugins such as chest-shop and griefprevention. The server is also running Towny, so you can build your own communities with your friends.

Want to just… play Minecraft?I started CoreMC (formerly “Cat Land”) about 2 years ago because I wanted a simple, no nonsense Minecraft community where anyone is welcome from highly technical people to elaborate builders to casual players. After a few months of downtime from moving I’m re-launching and re-branding as CoreMC. The server is running the vanilla Minecraft server JAR, which means no plugins and pure vanilla gameplay. In addition, all gamerules are set to their defaults and there are no datapacks or command blocks.
