Sunset Retreat SMP is a seasonal vanilla plus server that is made for players who are 18 or older. It is based in the EU and it is whitelisted so the community stays small and chill. The whole idea is to escape real life chaos and just relax while playing Minecraft.
From what I can see the owners are actually active and they play on the server too. They focus on really good quality of life extras. There is simple voice chat so talking is easier. Foggy Willows is a simple survival server that is all about real vanilla Minecraft. It runs on the normal minecraft server jar with no plugins and no datapacks so it feels like playing singleplayer but with other people around.
