United Crafters SMP is starting Season 7 and it feels like a small survival world where everyone actually wants to play together and not just rush the game.
The server is semi vanilla so it still looks and feels like normal Minecraft but with a few extra things to help the community. It runs on both Java and Bedrock and it is on version 1.21.10.
This server is whitelist only and has an age requirement of 14 plus so the community is more mature but still chill. People here seem to like building bases doing big projects and helping each other out.
There are community events and collaborations so you do not have to play alone unless you want to. The world also has Bluemap so you can look at the server map in your browser and see what everyone is building.
Players use simple voice chat and hang out on discord to talk and plan stuff. The whole thing is focused on being friendly and safe and feeling kind of like Hermitcraft but for regular players.

This is a small PaperMC server on version 1.21.10 that is trying to use a custom resource pack.
The owner is testing how to make the pack download for players on multiplayer. The pack works in singleplayer but it fails to download on the server right now. They are also trying a resource pack plugin but it still does not apply.
If you join you can help test how the textures look and maybe help find what is breaking the download. It feels like a simple chill place where people experiment with packs and learn how servers work.

GlowySMP is a new semi vanilla survival world that is whitelisted and feels pretty chill. It has a small community that wants more players to join and just hang out together.
The server uses an economy system so you can earn money and then spend it in player shops. There are player warps that make it easier to visit bases and stores. You can also claim land so your builds stay safe.
There are community events so people actually play together instead of sitting alone. There is PyroFishing and jobs so you can level up by doing different tasks. There is also a separate resource world so the main world does not get destroyed.
You can catch mobs with mobcatchers and there are crates and ranks to work toward. The server runs as an SMP for both Java and Bedrock players so more people can join the same world.
Overall it feels like a friendly survival server with an economy and some cool extra features but still close to normal Minecraft.

This is an SMP called Eternal Region and it is on Season 3. It is Java edition and it runs on version 1.21.7 and it is only for players who are 16 or older.
The server is mostly vanilla but has some small changes that make survival less annoying. Phantoms are turned off and you can get phantom membrane from bats instead. Creepers and endermen cannot ruin your builds so your base stays safe.
The world has a 10k overworld border that grows as the server progresses. There are player shops and a player economy so people can trade and build up a market. The server is mainly PvE and PvP is only allowed when both players agree.
There are community events and a voting system so players can help decide new features. The server uses CoreProtect so staff can deal with grief and theft. There is support for Simple Voice Mod so players can talk in game in a more immersive way.
The community is friendly and mature and the rules are taken seriously. It is focused on collaboration creativity and long term worlds so you can actually finish big builds and play with the same people for a long time.

This server is just straight vanilla and it feels kind of wild.
They only use the official jar files and they do not patch exploits or add anything extra. It is basically Minecraft how it comes from Mojang.
The server runs on snapshot 12w30b right now. They plan to go through every official server version including snapshots and even the April Fools ones.
The community votes on what version to run next and they can update every week based on that. There are no written rules in the post so it sounds like anything goes as long as the game allows it.
If you want a pure vanilla experience with all the weird bugs and crazy old versions this server is made for that.
