Davidscloud is a chill survival network that has been around for a long time. It feels like a community that actually wants players to relax and have fun without pay to win stuff ruining it.
The main Minecraft server is survival with strong protection. Every player starts with claim blocks so you can protect your base right away. Your land and your pets are safe and only you and people you trust can build there. If something goes wrong the admin team helps and investigates.
The server is focused on quality of life. There is a banking system that pays interest every hour you play so you can slowly build up money. You can spend that money at the market at survival spawn where merchants sell things like fish potions wood and other useful items.
There are multiple worlds to explore. Besides the normal survival world there is an amplified world with the new caves and cliffs generation so it looks crazy and fun to explore. The server is also working on an event world and a creative plot world so there will be more ways to play.
Overall it feels like a safe friendly place to play survival for a long time with people who actually care about the server staying around.

This is a semi anarchy Minecraft server that tries to feel like normal survival but with almost no rules. It launched on October 11th 2024 and it runs all the time on a world with a border at two million blocks.
You can join on Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 and they say using 1.21.10 is best so stuff does not break. The game is focused on pure survival with almost no plugins changing how the game works.
There are no map resets and no teleport commands like tpa and there is no pay to win store. Griefing is allowed and pvp is allowed so you always have to watch your back. The only real command they added is spawn so people far away do not feel stuck forever.
They also allow using the nether roof and they removed phantoms and only need half the players to sleep to skip the night. It makes the server feel a bit smoother but still pretty close to vanilla.
The rules are mostly about not ruining the server for everyone. Stuff like exploits lag machines duping and spamming are not allowed. Also you cannot harass people with racial slurs or toxic chat. So you can fight and raid bases but you still have to be somewhat respectful in chat.

Scarce SMP is a really hard Minecraft world with a three life system. When you die you do not just respawn like normal. You get set back one life and if you lose all three lives you are banned from the server for good.
Resources on this server are super limited. Ores villagers and structures are not easy to find. It is not the same boring three day grind that other worlds have. You actually have to think before you mine or fight.
The whole idea is to make the game feel fresh and challenging. It breaks the usual repeat cycle and makes every player try their best. If you like pressure and risk this server will probably feel fun and scary at the same time.
They are only accepting one hundred members so it is a pretty limited community and not just a random public server.

This is a small modded SMP that is doing a special randomizer weekend.
For the event all block drops and mob drops are completely random. It starts at 6pm EST and goes until 6pm EST on Sunday evening. So the whole weekend is just chaos and surprises.
The server feels friendly and chill and they want more people to just come hang out and play together. If you like random loot and weird moments this server is pretty fun.
There are rules and a way to get autowhitelisted that you have to read first but it all seems simple and fair.

Kindred Vale is a survival server that feels like a safe home. It is made for Java players who want a no grief world so your builds are not getting ruined all the time. The whole server is about being respectful and chill so new players and veterans can play together without drama.
The world has lots of cool biomes and structures to explore so it is fun just to wander around. There are skills you can level like mining and defense and as you get stronger the mobs also get tougher so it keeps things interesting.
There is a neat disenchantment feature where you can pull enchants off items using an anvil and books which is super handy. The server also runs monthly events and weekly key hunts so there is always something to do with other players.
Players can make their own shops and set warps so people can visit and trade easily. The community likes suggestions and they actually listen to player ideas which makes it feel like everyone helps shape the server.
