SolarCiv is a Minecraft server that puts you on a giant Earth map and tells you to survive and conquer. The world is based on real geography so mountains oceans and land shapes actually matter when you build towns and plan wars.
The main gameplay is Towny with nations and land claims. You can make a town grow it into a nation and fight other nations with SiegeWar. There is a lot of PvP and big battles when people try to take each others land so it feels like a strategy game but inside Minecraft.
The server also has MCMMO so your skills level up while you play. There is a physical gold economy so your money is real items you can trade and protect. You can even brew your own drinks which makes towns feel more alive and fun.
The Earth map is huge and very detailed and there are still many real world spots that no one has taken yet. The community is still pretty new but already active so it is a good time to join and claim a place for yourself.
Everything you do helps shape the history of the server. You can build peaceful cities you can make alliances or you can try to dominate the world. If you like survival Earth maps strategy and nation wars this server feels made for that.

This is a server called FreeLife SMP and it is a semi vanilla semi anarchy world. It runs on version 1.21.11.
From what I can tell the community is pretty relaxed and mature. People just hang out and play how they want. You can go hard on PvP or you can focus on building or you can just grind and chill.
Anyone is allowed to join and there is a lot of freedom in how you play. It does not look super strict and it feels more like a place where players make their own stories and rules as they go.

AvalonEarth is an earth style SMP with a 1 to 500 scale map so there is a lot of space to spread out and build your own nation. It is based on Towny so towns and nations are a huge part of how the server works.
You start with enough money to make a nation right away. You do not have to grind for hours or meet some weird player requirement before you can actually claim land. That makes it feel way more fair and you can jump into the geopolitics fast.
The server has already finished one season that started in September and it built a strong community. Now it is in the second season and it is doing really well with lots of new players and around 40 to 50 online during peak EU times.
There is a ton of conflict and wars for players who like fighting and strategy. But if you do not like war you can still live more peaceful and try to avoid battles. There is also KOTH events and a custom player head system where killing someone drops their head and you can sell it while they lose a bit of money.
Money is mainly made with jobs. You can be a Hunter a Lumberjack a Miner a Fisherman or a Farmer. That gives everyone different ways to earn cash and makes the grind feel more fun and less boring.

Novaris is a modded factions server in Minecraft 1.20.1 with a medieval and fantasy style. The world is all about nations and big group play where players build up power and fight for land.
The server uses a bunch of medieval and fantasy themed mods. It has armor and weapon mods for knights. It has more mobs to discover. There are food and farming upgrades. There are extra structures to explore. There is Create for crazy machines. There is a spell and magic system. There is also simple voice chat and party and claim tools so people can stick together and protect builds.
Novaris also uses Dynmap so you can see the world map in real time and it has Discord integration that helps people talk and stay connected. The staff team has real moderation experience from running a big Bedrock server so they know how to keep things under control.
Overall the server feels like a medieval fantasy world with nations and factions where you can explore build fight and hang out with other players.

This is a Bedrock OG style OP Prison server that is all about a real grind. It feels like one of those old school prisons where you actually have to work for progress.
The dev is active and the server gets updated a lot. They just did a big round of fixes. There are more than twenty custom enchants that have been fixed and rebalanced. Combat feels cleaner now because knockback got cleaned up too.
Outposts were adjusted so they feel better to fight over. The shop got updates and now splash pots are part of the game so fights and grinding feel more intense.
A bunch of dupes were patched like kits dupes auction house dupes and coinflip dupes. So if you are tired of broken prisons where no one fixes exploits this place is different. It is clearly being watched and maintained.
If you want a Bedrock only OP Prison that actually gets attention from the devs and is made for people who like a real grind this server is worth trying.
