GOOMB SMP is a vanilla style survival server with an amplified world and a new season. The map was reset only a few weeks ago so a lot of people are still building up their bases and the world feels really fresh.
There is a 6k by 6k border right now so everyone builds pretty close to each other. Some people share bases or make small towns which makes the server feel alive. The plan is for the border to expand later so people can spread out more and try bigger projects.
The community hangs out a lot on discord. People post terrain screenshots and advertise their shops and make deals for trading stuff. Voice chats are usually full of players just talking about their builds and plans for the season so it feels like a real group of friends.

I found this server called 99b99t and it is a real anarchy world. There are no rules and no limits. You just join and do whatever you want.
