TheDenSMP is a chill semi vanilla survival server. It is focused on regular Minecraft survival and it does not try to be something crazy or confusing.
From what I can see the server uses only minimal plugins. There is no big bloat or weird custom stuff everywhere. It feels like normal Minecraft but on a shared world.
The community is built around an SMP vibe with a player made economy. People trade and build things up instead of getting everything from plugins.

PridenMC is a custom Minecraft network that is getting ready to launch. It is made from scratch and focuses on minigames.
The main thing I see is a LuckyBlock game mode. You break special blocks and get random events. Sometimes you get rewards and sometimes you get challenges. It feels very chaotic and fun.
There is a cosmetics system with glow effects tags and chat colors. Players also have profiles with stats in a GUI. The server saves data using MongoDB so your progress sticks around.
The server runs Java Edition version 1.20 and higher. It uses Paper servers with a Velocity proxy so it should be smooth and fast.

AuroraSMP is a survival multiplayer server that is built around competition and grinding over a long time. It is managed in a professional way and they are looking for active players before the server launch.
The server has crates that give good rewards when you open them. There is a dedicated pvp arena where you can fight other players. There are arena bosses that give special loot when you kill them and they also drop crate keys. These bosses spawn every hour so there is always something big to fight.

This is a server for adults only who want a calm place to play Minecraft. The community is 21 plus so there are no kids and way less drama. It feels pretty relaxed and people seem to just chill and build.
The world has been running for about four years with no map resets. Because of that there are some huge builds and long term projects that keep growing as the map expands with each update. It is a normal difficulty survival world with Java 1.21.10 and a few quality of life plugins.
There are separate resource worlds for the overworld the nether and the end. Those reset every week so the main world can stay nice while you still have fresh places to mine and explore.
Gameplay is pretty flexible. One player sleep is on so nights go by fast. There is an anti grief and claims system so your stuff is safe. There are aura skills and an Acuteloot plugin for extra fun. Most plugins can be turned off if you do not like them.
Players run a shopping district where you can set up your own shop. There is also a gaming island for extra mini games and side activities. There is no required playtime so you can log in when you want and still feel welcome.
