Yes, spawn coordinates are (0,0) and you are welcome to build a starter home nearby. There will also be a shopping district west of spawn for buying and selling materials.

Check the sign-up list for ideas or propose your own projects. If you’re building a farm in a shared space, it must be a community farm rather than personal.
