This is a near vanilla survival server that has been running for about eight years. It is a semi vanilla SMP where players like to build collect explore and just hang out together. There are big cooperative builds player competitions and a busy shopping district so it feels like a real community world.
The server is very community driven and international. People talk a lot on their Discord and they actually listen to player opinions when making big changes. Suggestions are welcome and the staff is active so problems and bad behavior get handled fast.
They use a Dynmap so you can see the world from a browser. You can check where different biomes are and how close other players are which makes it easier to plan bases and travel.
The server is 18 plus only and they want mature and respectful players. There is a zero tolerance policy for hacking glitching duping griefing stealing bullying insulting or any kind of discrimination or toxic behavior. If you want a hard difficulty near vanilla world with a close knit group this server is made for that.

Alathra is a towny roleplay server where players build kingdoms and write their own stories. The world has cool custom landscapes like glaciers volcanoes and mesas so it feels different from normal Minecraft.
The combat and gear are way more advanced here. There are over 140 custom weapons plus special armor types so battles are a lot more interesting. There are war systems siege weapons and horse combat so big fights between towns and nations can actually happen.
The server also focuses a lot on roleplay and daily life. There is a detailed brewing system where you can make tons of custom drinks and run a tavern. Fishing is also upgraded with many different kinds of fish special rods and baits so it does not feel boring.
There are immersive plugins like lockpicking fast travel ports carriage stations and customizable NPCs. The world also has random mob encounters like Bog Frogs and you can summon powerful bosses for rare loot.
The lore is a huge part of Alathra. Players create religions conflicts and organizations and there is a whole wiki that records the history of the world. You can build a giant city or a tiny village and slowly shape your destiny with other players.

Beauty in Blocks is a small modded SMP that feels like a big adventure. The world looks really cool because it uses special terrain mods and it makes the world feel fresh and different.
There are new biomes and new realms above and below so exploring actually feels worth it. The seasons change and leaves fall so the world feels more alive. The nether has extra structures and ruins so it is way less boring and more dangerous.
The server gives you a guide book when you first join. It explains the important changes the mods add and even has links to more info. This helps a lot if you are not used to modded servers.

This server is called Stellar Warfare and it is all about modern war in Minecraft. It is modded and feels like a big battlefield with guns tanks and planes.

TendoMC is a modded Minecraft server that is all about a Naruto style world. It runs on Java with Forge 1.12.2 and focuses a lot on quests boss fights and lore events.
The server uses CustomNPCs to make real quest lines and custom bosses. NPCs can use abilities and jutsu style attacks and more story content is still being added. There are planned lore events where players can try to become a Jinchuriki and unlock special powers.
There are five nations you can join. Leaf Sand Stone Cloud and Mist. Each nation has its own NPC that sells unique clothing and some extra items so you can look and feel like part of your village.
