Sigma Minecraft one of the few Minecraft servers that actively encourages toxic behaviour like tribalism, hatred, animosity, greed, lust, desire, power, and selfishness.
But while these things are encouraged, you are never forced to behave in these ways. You have the choice to uplift others and grow a community – to fight against extreme oppression. But when it’s so easy to be bad, will you remain true to your principles?
In Sigma Minecraft, there are two factions – Sigmas and Betas.
Sigmas have all the money and power, and use their excessive wealth to spread the Sigma message as far and wide as possible.
The Betas are simply trying to get by, scavenging for resources, buying what they can with the little money they have.
The problem is, the only people rich enough to pay a wage are the Sigmas, and the Sigmas see themselves as superior to the Betas in every way.
But it’s not all bad being a Beta, as the Sigmas are constantly trying to battle their way to the position of the Head Sigma – a position that comes with immense power and influence, and being under the Head Sigma leaves very little time for anything that isn’t praying, fighting, extorting, or submitting to power.
The life of a Beta can be free, and Betas can still make a comfortable, peaceful life for themselves if they’re resourceful enough.
Sigma Suggestions
These are not rules that must be followed, but for the Sigmas to stay unified, these are my personal suggestions.
Coordinate your spending! Don’t let Betas exploit you by letting them cosy up to more generous Sigmas.
Be wary of Sigmas that are extremely popular with the Betas – it may be a sign they plan to subvert the Sigmas as a whole to gain money/favour with a large group of Betas
Be active and use your funds! Get Betas to do jobs for you, like mining, fishing, building, etc – since you have total control over how much you pay them and when you pay them (before, after, 50% up front 50% after, etc), you have a huge amount of power over them.
Keep the faith – attend Sigma meetings, mew together, support your fellow Sigma. Gaining power isn’t the only thing a Sigma should be doing with his time.
Beta Suggestions
These are not rules that must be followed, but for the Betas to stay unified, these are my personal suggestions.
Work together and avoid in-fighting – the Sigmas have more access to powerful weapons, enchantments, and armour than the Betas do by default. Betas are by no means unfairly capped, but it’s quicker for the Sigmas to restock – so if you want to fight the Sigmas and win, you will need the largest army you can muster!
You don’t have to focus on getting money, but with the limited world size, you may have to purchase certain items and gear from the auction house, slum shops, or from Sigmas themselves to achieve your goals more quickly.
Becoming a Sigma is not an end goal, so if you don’t want to follow the regime of a Sigma and would prefer to be free, you can. You also don’t have to fight or work for the Sigmas, but be aware that the goals of other players may include becoming a Sigma by any means necessary, and you may find yourself on the receiving end of a sword swing.
Interact with as many players as possible.
Create your own lore.
Write books for fun.
There are special rewards for Betas who conquer the Sigmas that not even the highest ranking Sigmas can ever dream of getting! If you manage to wipe out the Sigmas, you’ll attract the gaze of @licker98 who will handsomely reward you.
