Shacknews SMP is an old school SMP server formed around the Shacknews gaming community. We’re looking for other like minded adults to join our server! We started running a Minecraft server back in the Alpha versions in 2010. Our server is PvE focused mostly on building projects/bases, redstone farms and just general playing Minecraft with friends, we’re all pretty laid back here. Typically we don’t do server economies or shopping districts, usually shared farms in community areas, ect… Pretty much a vanilla+ server here, no P2W, server boosting, ranks or anything like that on this server. Our server is currently running a custom-made Fabric Modpack on Java v1.21.1.

We are a fairly new server, so there is still a lot of landscape to explore and a lot to build. We have a city as a starting area where you can first look around without monsters. But to really get started you have to get out of the city and settle wherever you want.

Since our server is a server with mods, you have to download our client first. You can find it on our homepage: www.mienenkraft.de Our client doesn’t need a simple installation! Simply download, unzip and start playing! Your own Minecraft version remains completely untouched by us so that you can still play on all your servers. In addition, a texture pack (which supports the mods) is already preinstalled and the server is already set up. But we don’t just have mods.
