This server used to originally exist as a vanilla server that began getting players around 2014. Shortly after, we decided to move over to Attack of the B-Team. Where we actually were at the top of the charts on voting sites. Right behind Keralis, one of the creators of Attack of the B-Team himself, who held the #3 spot (the first two spots being paid ads, so technically Keralis #1, us #2). Back then, we had a community of a couple thousand strong, and 30 active users on the server nearly 24 hours a day. After awhile, we questioned whether or not we wanted to change modpacks. We cast a vote and switched to FTB Infinity. I transferred over player’s builds, our admin cities, everything important. For some reason a fair portion our community wound up having trouble running the modpack. This kinda dwindled until eventually closing the server in 2016. When I couldn’t afford to keep the server up and to the standards we needed to run the modpack, without community support that we had on B-Team.
The server is BACK though! The Production Team! rides again.
We spent a ton of time cleaning up Central City from being in Attack of the B-Team. Removing all the errors from tearing it out of the modpack. The blending into the seed was a bit more smooth, especially with the polishing Ricardo and I did.
We’ve got a pretty big focus on train stations, if you can’t tell from Central Station. So if you build together with people and make towns, or rural outposts near eachother. We can make you a Station and link you into our train network, granted you didn’t go millions of blocks away from Central Station. If you’d rather build your own station, we can integrate it into the Safe Zone network. All rail travel will be protected from PvP. So travel safe and secure thousands of blocks through our network while you go make yourself a tasty sandwich (protection from mobs not included).

Yes, I MAY have a copy of your build. It MAY be possible to restore it into the current world. Do I always have time to do this? No… sadly. But, if you either message me on Discord, or send me a message through the in-world /mail system. I will mark it as a priority.

Common sense is expected. If you x-ray straight down to diamonds you’ll be punished, if you use the N word.. no! Not “nerd,” the other one with an “er”….. you will be punished. Punishments are usually light, but may vary on a case-by-case basis. Dark humor, dark jokes, and serious (non-controversial) discussion are not only welcome, but also supported. Intentionally provoking people with topics such as: religion, politics, or otherwise may on rare occasions be punished depending on severity.

Late 2016 — C_Corp2002, ButtonmashTP (Now: Oshwatt), Millycow, Crazymario5, and MusicalDuck (All IRL friends of C_Corp2002) started playing a Mojang-Hosted Realms SMP Server for fun and hanging out.
Late 2016-Early 2017 — The first Realm expired. C_Corp2002 wanted something similar to the experiance we had back with the realm, so C_Corp2002 took it upon themself, and started learning programming/”Code” and how to use many other programs and software. C_Corp2002 started a few small test servers to get a feel for running a Spigot/Bukkit-based Minecraft Server.
Mid 2017-Late 2017 — Colossal Factions was born out a merger between the original concept of “A cool place to hangout after school”, and a “A place where epic battles and nations canrise and fall”. It eventually picked up a few non-IRL players along theway. Most notably Gateway_Guardian (Now: Hoshi) who has became a greatly trusted and valued friend to C_Corp2002.
Early 2018-Late 2018 — Colossal Factions expanded upon the previous concept and grew more into what we can recognize nowadays; A multi-server network with many Planets in addition to Buildable, block-based, Movecraft Vehicles. Colossal Combat was born.
2019-Present Colossal Combat/The Celestial Expanse has grown a lot since 2018, *far too much to write down, But a brief summary of what has been added is as follows:
