Prism SMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels really relaxed and community based. The world is close to normal Minecraft but they use a few small plugins to make things smoother without changing the classic gameplay.
The server has been around for about four years and the current world is about ten months old so it feels lived in but not worn out. You can explore over 300 custom structures like dungeons and ruins that still feel like they belong in vanilla. It makes exploring feel fresh all the time.
Loot is set up in a cool way. Chests and item frames are instanced per player. That means when you find treasure it is there just for you and not already looted by someone else.
The community is open to all ages and they keep things respectful and family friendly. The server is run by the community together and they listen to member feedback. They also run regular events so people have stuff to do together.

I found this server called 99b99t and it is a new Minecraft anarchy world. There are no rules and no limits so players can basically do whatever they want. It feels like pure chaos mixed with hard survival.
