This is a lifesteal semi anarchy server where everyone plays in teams. When you fight you steal hearts from other players so every battle actually matters.
There are two main teams and each team needs a leader and players. The leader decides what the team is trying to do so every team can have a different goal or style. You can make smaller factions inside the teams but it is not really encouraged because the season ends when only one main team is left.
The server has some rules so it is not total chaos but it still feels wild and dangerous. The owner is getting everything ready and the season will start once the teams are full and the setup is done.

This is a Minecraft 1.8.9 pvp modpack that was made for stuff like Bedwars HG and pvp in general. The creator has been working on it for a few weeks and it is all about smoother pvp and quality of life.
The modpack has a lot of small mods that make the game feel cleaner. There are mods for better skins and cosmetics and ways to see your sword on your back and items at your waist. There is a block outline mod that helps with clutch plays and a perspective mod so you can look around without moving your camera. It also has 1.7 style animations and options to change the HUD and lock the time of day.
There are also a bunch of optimization mods. Stuff like Optifine and BetterFps plus lighting and sound fixes to make the game run lighter. Some mods fix hit delay and pvp bugs and even small bugs with doors.

AvalonEarth is a Minecraft earthsmp server with a 1 to 500 scale map so there is a lot of room to make your own nation and claim land. It is focused on geopolitics and nations so the map really matters here.
The server uses Towny so towns and nations are a big part of the gameplay. Anyone can create a nation because the server gives you starter money and there are no player requirements to get started. You do not have to grind for hours just to place your first claim.
There are a lot of conflicts and wars between nations so if you like fighting for land and power this server is pretty active. If you do not like wars you can still live a peaceful life and try to avoid the battles and just build or farm.
The main way to make money is by doing jobs farming and fishing. The owner says they are adding more ways to earn money soon. The server already had a first season that did well and now it is on the second season with a growing community.

This server is called BareBonesMP and it has a special Hardcore Plus world with custom health. Every time you die you lose one heart and you can go all the way down to only 3 hearts. To get your hearts back you have to craft a Heart Crystal with an echo shard and a diamond block.
If you use a Heart Crystal you restore one heart and you can even go above the normal 10 hearts up to 20 hearts. These extra hearts are temporary. When you take damage the extra hearts disappear first and you will not get them back unless you use another Heart Crystal.
The Hardcore Plus world is basically vanilla. There are no teleport commands and all normal block damage is turned on like fire spread and creeper explosions. Stealing and griefing are not allowed so it is not an anarchy server.
There is also a main vanilla SMP server and the community has been around since 2019. People say it feels like a classic hermitcraft style server and it is whitelisted and close knit. There are community events every weekend and mayor elections every month.
The server has an active discord and a dedicated machine so it runs with no lag. It uses a few quality of life plugins like sleep tweaks and leaderboards and stuff like that. There is optional proximity voice chat and in game chat is linked with discord so people can talk even when they are not online in Minecraft.

So this server is called Raid SMP and it is kinda like a mix of peaceful and chaos. There is this main Safe Zone island where you can chill and not worry at all. No pvp no griefing no stealing there. People build bases and trade and do community stuff and the island actually grows as more players join. Farms are allowed but they are limited because the island is supposed to be a hub not a giant afk farm place.
Outside that Safe Zone it turns into the Danger Zone. Out there it is basically no rules except no cheating. Pvp is on and griefing and stealing and traps are all allowed. If you die out there it is totally your fault and no one is going to save your stuff.
The server runs on Java 1.21.11 and it has some quality of life plugins. There are custom structures that still feel vanilla but they make exploring more fun. The world border is 50k and it will get bigger as the server grows. The Nether is opening soon and the End is locked until a special event.
They want about 10 to 20 active players. After that it will turn into whitelist with applications so it feels more long term. The server is meant to be for the players with suggestions getting reviewed and updates happening a lot and even cracked clients are supported. There are also paid competitions and events so there is always something going on.
