⭐ A large number of development stages
During development, there are several stages, each of which has its own flavor and substages. The Steam Age represents a small number of machines powered by steam and the primitive extraction of ore using tools and a miner powered by combustible fuel.
⭐ Unique resource extraction system
There are no standard ores in the form of blocks on the server; instead, there are so-called “phantom” veins, invisible from a normal view of the world. To obtain the first resources, you use a special tool “Blacksmith’s Hammer”, with which you need to dig a stone and, with some probability, stone dust will fall. By processing these dusts, you can obtain the first resources for creating multi-block structures for digging phantom veins – miners

Like wires, mechanisms have their own specific voltage limit, above which they can explode. Depending on the recipe and the mechanics of operation, the mechanism can take a different number of amperes; if this number of amperes is exceeded, everything will be fine with the mechanism, but if the amount is less than necessary, the mechanism will not work.

GregTech provides a unique mechanic: when rain is turned on in the world, mechanisms/wires located in the open air will first light up and then inevitably explode. And even covering the mechanism above it with one block will not save you from this violation. To prevent your mechanisms from breaking down, you need to cover them with a canopy of at least 3×3 blocks, so that there is no rain even on the side of the mechanism

GregTech adds a huge number of different materials, ranging from primitive ones in the form of iron, tin, copper and ending with various alloys consisting of dozens of elements and having their own properties
In addition to solid materials, various liquids are present. Starting from solid materials in a liquid state and ending with various chemical solutions from real life such as acids, organics, etc.
Unlike IC2, which has about 10 main mechanisms, GregTech adds about 50 mechanisms designed for different types of creation/processing, each of which has several tiers and, depending on it, the mechanism can increase slots/liquid volume/number of available recipes
⭐ Multi-block structures
Creating/Processing Structures: One of the development tiers is running out of single-block mechanisms and the only way to use them at a higher voltage is to create their multi-block analogues. In the future, their efficiency can be increased to 256 simultaneous recipes at a time using the parallelism system. It is a combination of a Satellite in orbit, a Communications Tower and a Parallel Supercomputer on Earth. If the multiblock is successfully connected to a supercomputer, it begins to use the power of this computer to achieve parallelism, thereby increasing the number of simultaneous recipes at a time
