This is a Christmas themed Minecraft server that uses Towny on a giant 1 to 500 scale map of the North Pole. The whole server is about building towns and nations and doing diplomacy instead of fighting.
There is no war and no wilderness pvp so you do not have to worry about getting killed and losing your stuff while you explore or build. The server is really focused on staying peaceful and keeping the community nice. They are hard against griefing and toxic players so it feels pretty safe.
The economy is based on presents that you mine and use to trade. There is also a unique trade law system that makes trading feel different from normal servers. A lot of the plugins are made by the server staff so the features feel custom and not like every other server.
You can look at a live dynamic map in your browser to see towns and the North Pole in real time. The overworld map is mostly empty so there is a lot of space to start your own town or join others.

This server is called Summit Survival and it feels like old school Minecraft. It started in 2020 when the owner and some friends just wanted simple survival again without crazy plugins.
The world runs hard difficulty and is mostly vanilla. There is no land claiming so you can build and explore pretty freely. People are expected to respect each others bases so you have to ask before you touch other builds or move stuff.
The server uses an item based economy where raw gold is the currency. Players run their own shopping district so the market kind of grows with the community.
There are a few quality of life commands like spawn and sethome and a way to skip the night but not a lot of extra stuff. It keeps the game close to the basic survival feeling.
The community leans more mature and they like to talk about real life and joke around. Staff are not power hungry and stay pretty hands off unless someone is cheating or griefing. Rules like no hacking no x ray no big duping and no griefing are taken very seriously.
The server runs on solid hardware with normal mob rates and good view distance. There is also support for Bedrock players on a special port so more people can join together.

Spugunke SMP is a new semi vanilla server that is all about community and long term survival. The world just started so players who join now get to help shape everything and become part of the history of the server.
The main focus is on player made towns and teams. People can work together to build shared bases farms and big projects. Some players might make teams for pvp or exploring or grinding resources. You can still play solo if you want but the server is built so both chill and competitive playstyles feel welcome.
The rules are relaxed but still fair. Griefing stealing and random killing are not allowed. PVP only happens when everyone agrees so there is no surprise killing. Town or team battles can happen too but only when both sides want it so fights stay fun and not toxic.
Spawn is planned as a shared community area with player builds and spots to hang out. Players are often on at the same time and many use voice calls while playing so it feels like a real group of friends instead of just random people.
The server lets Java and Bedrock players play together and it uses only vanilla style plugins like tpa sethome spawn and protection tools so the survival gameplay still feels like normal Minecraft but with a bit more quality of life. Endergrove is a Minecraft group for adults who like playing modded survival together. It feels like a chill place where people actually talk and work as a team instead of rushing alone.
They run two servers right now. One is on Forge 1.20.1 with a custom modpack that mixes magic tech and exploration. The other is on Fabric 1.21.1 and is more like vanilla plus but still has a lot of mods and quality of life stuff so it runs smooth.

AvalonEarth is a geopolitics style earth smp server where the map is a big 1 to 500 scale world so there is a lot of space to make your own nation.
The server uses Towny so players can claim land and build towns and nations. Anyone can start a nation because you get starter money when you join. You do not have to grind forever or meet some player requirement just to claim land.
This is the second season of the server and the first season already built a strong community. The new season is getting lots of new players and it feels active and alive.
If you like conflict and wars there are a lot of them here. But if you do not like fighting you can stay peaceful and avoid most of the wars and just live your own calm life.
The main ways to make money are doing jobs farming and fishing and the owner says more methods are coming soon. Overall it feels like a server where players create nations fight wars or chill in peace and build their own story.
