If you’re anything like me, you grew up on Hermitcraft and fell in love with the creative platform that Minecraft provides its players. But it is undeniable that community is what really brings all that creativity together, allowing for a greater experience than what is offered through sheer singleplayer alone.

And I’ve attempted to create my own solo worlds, only to yearn for something greater, a network of like-minded people who want to work together to create a cohesive world. I dreamed of being able to log in the game to see my friends working on their new projects. I always wanted to find a group of builders who love the game, and though life can be hectic and busy, will eventually come back to add something new to the world.

For anyone who feels the same way, I’d love to extend an offer to start fresh with me and some friends on a new Realm. I’d love to find a roster of chill people who are just looking to build and have a good time forming relationships over this great game, and create something that’s in it for the long haul. In a few years, I’d love to look back at what we created and get memories of all the moments that led us there.

This idea of creating projects together, building something from scratch just for the sake of it, sounds eerily beautiful to me, especially in this day and age where doom scrolling tik tok is the new norm. I so desperately wish to relive those old gaming vibes, the kind where there is no ulterior motive other than chillin with your friends and doing whatever comes to mind.

The Atlas Project is a Survival Multiplayer Server (SMP) with a few mods added that bring new biomes generation and add gameplay features. You must be 18 or over to join. Players on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch are able to join. There is a world border to save unloaded chunks for future game updates and the map is split into four separate play areas to give players a way to play how they want. Grief is not allowed anywhere on the server. The General play area is good for playing however you want, no PVP or theft is allowed. The Kingdoms play area is where players can claim land for their kingdom according to the rules for Kingdoms which are on the discord server. PVP and theft are only allowed during war which must be agreed to by both Kingdoms. The Teams play area is where players can also claim land but without the same requirements as Kingdoms. PVP and theft are only allowed during conflict between Teams which must be agreed to by both Teams. The Badlands play area is where PVP, theft and greif are allowed outright. The use of hacks and exploits are not allowed here or anywhere on the server.
