Here’s what you care about:
–> The world is 2k x 2k blocks. This is a temporary size and style for the world. The world size will grow when 1.21 releases. Server members will help decide how much. Expanding the world in this fashion means no resets, ever. Right now that space is 85% mesa and desert, and about 15% forested. Server expansion will have all biomes, and will be organized with input from players.
–> This is a towny server with plot based upkeep for towns. Towny is the only means to protect your land from grief, which is legal. Towns will pay 1 currency for every plot they own. Nations will pay 2 currency for every member. Nations can go to war and steal land from opposing towns with Flag War for Towny. Towns without nations are neutral and cannot be raided, but they are capped at only 3 townspeople. Each player brings a town 20 chunks to claim, instead of the regular 8. This means just two players can command an entire 100×100 block area.
–> You can learn more about how the server works by walking through the buildings at the server spawn, which will tell you all of the details you need to know to find out if this is the server for you!
–> I hope you brought good shoes (or a saddle)! The only teleports on this server are /t spawn, and /n spawn. You can also visit the spawns of allied nations, incentivizing such relationships. Use a horse, railway, or a nether highway to traverse this world of war. This makes where you settle and who you live by so much more important. It also encourages you to join a town in order to get farther out into the world.
–> The economy is diamond and raw gold based, and acquiring these items are the only way for money to be produced. A diamond is worth 100. These items are chosen because they are non-renewable but together, plentiful enough to provide exchange. Exchange your digital /balance with chest shops, that any player can create.
–> Gameplay plugins: Towny – Chest Shop – Flag War- Essentials. That’s it.
The More:
–> The vision: a cluster of towns, fighting for control over a limited amount of land. Paths, routes, walls, and gates across towns and nations, protecting ones town against invaders. Ally with towns to grow a vast space of peace, or terrorize villages into their destruction so you can steal all of their land! PvP is forced on, but war is managed to give defenders a good opportunity to prevail. A town of maximum 3 people can exist without a nation, and cannot be attacked in war. We welcome and will help new players who want to learn the Towny system!
