Waychest is a survival server that feels like a huge shared world where everyone is on their own little adventure. When you join you start what they call a Journey. It is like your own private area in the same big world and you can bring friends too.
As you explore you slowly find out you are not actually alone. There are special chests called Waychests. They point you toward other places and other players who were there before you. You can follow them across the world and see what other people have built and left behind.
You can even make your own Waychests later. Then the next players can discover your base and your ideas. There is also a flying minigame that uses Elytra and rings in the world. You fly through the rings and it leads to another Waychest that someone else made.
The server feels like a mix of a normal public SMP and a private realm. It uses a mostly vanilla style with a few custom systems to make exploration and discovery matter more. The version is 1.21.11 Java and it is PvE so the focus is on building and adventuring instead of fighting other players.

This is a big Minecraft SMP that runs special civilization events every season. The whole server is about nations war and politics and they actually want you to lean into it.
Season 4 starts in February with a fresh world new teams and new battles. Everyone is trying to build the strongest civilization and see which group can come out on top.
The server is on Minecraft 1.21.8 Java only and it has proximity voice chat so you can actually hear people near you which makes wars and meetings feel way more intense.
If you want a server where people take teams and strategy seriously and you like big events this one is made for that.

This server is built around mining and PvP with a cool element theme.
In Mines you start with a wooden pickaxe and mine stone. You move through mines from A to Z and work your way up to a crazy strong custom netherite pickaxe that can mine diamonds and ancient debris. You sell what you mine to get cash. Then you use that money to unlock new mines or buy better tools and consumables like TNT and haste potions.
Skyminer feels like Mines but it is more about resources instead of money. All the mines are open from the start but you have to gather the right stuff and trade for better tools to really progress. This mode also has custom pickaxes and custom potions.
There is also a combat PvP mode. You pick an element bending style and fight other players using fire water air earth or chi to get an advantage in battles.
The server runs on Minecraft 1.20.6 Java. Players are often online and they use the discord to check activity and start games together.

This is an 18 plus whitelisted SMP that feels like a big friend group. It has around 5 to 20 players online during the day and about 100 people in the community who come and go.
The server is based on a Hermitcraft style world. There is a diamond economy and a main shopping district where players make their own shops. There are public builds and big projects that people work on together.
Most players use proximity chat so it feels like you are really near each other in game. There are homes and player warps and some extra cosmetic and quality of life plugins. New plugins get added from community requests and polls so players help decide how the server grows.
The goal is to stay close to vanilla Minecraft but still be able to expand when the community wants to. It runs on Minecraft 1.21.10 and is Java only. The server is always looking for more players who want a chill and social SMP.

This is a brand new Minecraft SMP that is just starting and it already feels like a big adventure.
The whole server is built around teams and wars so players group up and fight for power. There is an economy and auctions so people can trade items and get rich together or make rival shops.
The server uses proximity chat so you can actually talk and hear players who are close to you in game. It also has cross platform support so more people can join no matter what they play on.
There are events and some cool unique plugins like player head drops so fights feel way more intense. The community is still super early so you can join from day one and help shape how the server grows before it gets huge.
