ZillaSMP; Kingdoms and Politics

ZillaSMP is a Western European themed medieval roleplay SMP with kingdoms, naval warfare, tradable currency, and light RPG mechanics. It’s almost like an entirely new game inside of Minecraft! (no mods are required to join)

ZillaSMP is set in a time between King Alfred the Great’s death, and the formation of England; just as King Alfred’s kingdom of Wessex took its last stand against the vikings. It’s not intended to be 100% historically or geographically accurate, it’s meant to serve as a playable “alternate timeline” that is written through player actions and roleplay.

As with any roleplay server, there are many different roles you can choose or be selected for; knight, pirate, viking, lord, liege, etc. There are many kingdoms spread out in ZillaSMP’s 20k by 20k sized map; allowing chances for trade, war, conflict, and negotiations.

    The Collective – Cobblemon Story Server

    This server is called The Collective and it is all about players choosing what happens next. It is a free to play community where the modpack and even the world can change based on what players do.

    Right now they are playing Cobblemon. When players finish certain tasks that match the current modpack they get to decide the next direction of the server. That can mean a new modpack or a new world so the story keeps moving.

    There is a god like being on the server called The Collector. This god tries to make life harder through different disciples. You can pick a side. You can join Echo Fall and fight against the tyranny. You can follow The Collector and try to learn more about this strange being. Or you can try to make your own path.

    The Collective started as a small friend group and they seem really close. They have played together for about a year and have old worlds with scars and builds that show their stories. They are open to new people and say anyone is welcome to join in.

    They also use something called an Artifact System. Special items can be carried through different worlds so some things stay the same even when the server changes. That helps keep the story and history going each time they move to a new world.

    Twigland SMP Chill 420 Towny World

    Twigland SMP is a chill survival server that feels really relaxed and friendly. The players are pretty welcoming and it is easy to just hop on and vibe with people.

    The server uses Towny so players can build towns and even full kingdoms together. It is great if you like making bases and big projects with other people. You can claim land and slowly turn it into a cool community area.

    It also has McMMO so you can level up different skills while you play. It makes normal survival stuff like mining and fighting feel more like an RPG and gives you a reason to grind if you want to.

    The server is cross play so both Java and Bedrock players can join the same world. That makes the community more mixed and there are more people to meet.

    The community feels small but growing and they already hit 12 players online at once. It seems like a good place if you want a chill SMP to settle down on and make your mark with other players.

    Lost Land of Caldra Roleplay SMP

    The Lost Land of Caldra is a new SMP that is all about roleplay and fair survival. It feels like a big story where every player is a character and every build is part of the history.

    On this server everyone plays on equal ground. Big farms like creeper farms iron farms gold farms and raid farms are not allowed. This makes people trade with each other and build a real player economy instead of just AFK farms.

    Players are pushed to form nations and towns. You can help make laws design flags and shape how your nation works. Nations can go to war with each other so players can test their strength in battles for honor and glory.

    The community uses Discord a lot to share lore art and news about their characters and nations. There are channels for art character news and international news so writers and artists can show off their ideas and help grow the story of the world.

    To join you need to fill out an application in their Discord and let a mod know so they can add you to the server.

    Club Evil Anarchy Semi-Vanilla Survival

    This is an anarchy server called Club Evil that is pretty laid back and kinda chill. It is a survival world that is mostly vanilla so things feel close to normal Minecraft.

    The server only gives you very basic commands like home and spawn. There is no sethome so you have to think before you move your base or you might get stuck. It feels more risky and more like real survival.

    The server is run by players and there are no moderators or ops flying around. It really feels like everyone is on the same level and whatever happens is because of the players.

    The world has some really huge caves that are crazy to explore. Near spawn there are mushroom areas and cherry groves and also a bunch of villages. So you can gear up pretty fast or just run away and start your own thing.

    If you like anarchy and semi vanilla survival and want a place where you can make your mark Club Evil is that kind of server.

  • Halcyon Lands Medieval Survival PvP

    Halcyon Lands Medieval Survival PvP

    Halcyon is a Lands PvP server that feels like a tough old school medieval world. It runs the latest vanilla Minecraft 1.21.11 but the gameplay is not easy. The world is handmade and survival is slower and harder so you cannot just rush everything.

    There are no teleports so travel actually matters. People build long roads waystations and hidden underground rail lines. Biomes are large and crops and saplings only grow in certain places. This makes trade really important and different areas get their own strengths and identity.

    The server uses some rules to reduce meta play and big automation. Health comes back slowly and only in certain ways and night cannot just be skipped. Winning is more about courage smart trading strong builds and getting people to follow your banner instead of using exploits.

    Players can make factions with the Lands plugin and form cities and fortresses. There is no strict server lore you have to follow and nobody is forcing you into a premade story. You just pick a direction punch trees and your own story grows as you meet other players.

    The community is spread across Australia Europe the Americas and Asia and there are usually between 10 and 30 players online. People already make books art myths and little superstitions in game and it all comes out of how the world and plugins push players to create their own tales.
