A chill spot for players who want fun without land claims. It’s not just PvP chaos. No whitelist, just jump in. Java only. It’s the only 1.17.1 SMP around (2021 vibes).

AXSAR Network is a survival server but it does not feel like the boring kind. It is built for real competition with a real economy and real players.

The economy is meant to be balanced and fair. There is a claim system so you can protect your place. They also run events a lot and you can get special rewards.

The staff is active and pays attention. The server says it has strong infrastructure and low lag. They are in a new opening phase so early players can take the advantage and help shape the market.

I found Goblin SMP and it is a simple survival server that is made for long term play. It feels like a place where people actually build and stick around.

The world is huge with a 500000 by 500000 border and it expands every month so new land keeps showing up over time. That makes exploring feel worth it and you can still claim a good spot early.

The gameplay stays clean and focused. It is player driven survival with building exploration and community stuff.

They are strict about playing fair. No xray or esp or hacked clients and no exploiting or trying to lag the server. You are supposed to respect other players and not ruin the experience.

The Grove is a small group server with around 20 chill people who like cozy Minecraft. They mostly build together and just hang out while they play.

It is an 18 plus server so it is made for people who do not play every single day. The world is meant to be a forever world that everyone keeps working on over time.

There are big community projects and lots of megabuilds happening. There is a shopping district at spawn and the server uses gravestones so dying is less annoying.

It is lightly modded with stuff like Farmers Delight Mr Crayfish furniture Travelers Backpack and Bloomcraft with mooblooms. The community is LGBTQ friendly and expects you to be the same. It runs on 1.21.11 and started in March 2025.

GamerHub Towny is a new Towny server that started as a streaming project and now it is trying to grow into a bigger place.

The world has no resets and the vibe is meant to be chill. Griefing and stealing are not allowed so you can build without feeling stressed.

It has an ingame ranking system that uses ingame money. You can use dynmap to look around and there are player warps plus player shops. The server also has a sell only server shop. Jobs and MCMMO are there too.

Most of the time it has a few players on but it gets the most active during Twitch streams and can hit 10 or more online. It supports version 1.21.10 or similar and it also has a Bedrock port.

I found a survival server that is still being built and it is made to force people to actually meet each other. Everyone starts on the same small island so you cannot just run away and never see anyone.

Survival is harder than normal because resources are scarce and also tied to different regions. Progress is slow and it follows a more historical path. You start with knapped stone tools then work up through copper then bronze then iron. Gold and diamonds are rare and feel like a big status thing.

Crafting is more involved too. Leather and metals need processing. You need cords and bone needles for basic stuff. Pottery is important for progress and metal is hard to get without trading.

This feels like a social experiment where your reputation matters. Land claims are limited and early on it can be better to live out of mobile camps and move around. People will have to choose if they want to build a civilization together or try to control everyone else.
