This is a short term lifesteal style SMP that is all about PvP. Players fight each other and the whole server is focused on combat and tension.
To join you fill out a small application first. The owners review it and then invite you to their discord server if you get in.
The only mod you need is Simple Voice Chat so people can talk in game while they play. It makes fights and team stuff feel more real and fun.
The server looks like it is for players who like fast action and do not want a super long season. It is more about intense moments and battles than grinding forever.

This is a Minecraft Bedrock realm that is all about long term survival and a chill vibe. It is mostly vanilla but it has a few extra features that make things deeper without turning it into some crazy mod pack.
There is a custom currency and NPC shops where you can trade. Players can make their own shops too and they can be trusted and protected. You can also get optional upgrades like more hearts and faster movement if you want.
You can build by yourself or team up with other players to make towns and group bases. There are regular community events like building contests and casual PvP tournaments. These events are always optional and are just for fun.
The realm has a gravestone system so when you die your stuff is safe. There are simple rules that keep everyone respectful. No hacking no griefing no stealing and no PvP that people do not want.
Most of the community is adults with busy lives so there is no pressure to be on all the time. You can play when you want at your own pace. Discord is used for talking and for event announcements.

This server is called IRN SMP and it is a small semi vanilla anarchy server.
It is inspired by the Donut SMP so it has that kind of do whatever you want feeling. People can fight and raid and there is not really much protection.
If you like chaos and survival with almost no rules this server is pretty much made for that. You join survive and see how long you can last against everyone else.

Players can trade with each other and also battle other nations if they want. It is kind of like a big world where every group is its own nation making deals or going to war.

I found this server called StillPoint SMP and it feels like a simple chill place to play.
It is a brand new world and the idea is to stay mostly vanilla. There are just a few quality of life mods that make things easier without changing the game too much.
The cool part is it supports both Java and Bedrock so your friends can join no matter what they play on. It is set up to run fast so it feels smooth.
