Land claiming is used so nations can mark territory and set borders. Roads and rails matter since roads make you move faster and minecarts go much faster on powered rails.
There is a grindstone change that lets you pull enchantments off and turn them into books. Farming and fishing are also changed with new behavior and unique drops.
